China is now claiming just about the entire South China Sea, and everything in it, as its own.

    From CNN:

Here is a link to the entire piece: China cautions U.S. Navy on patrols in South China Sea - CNNPolitics.com

Do others find it just as interesting as I do to see how this all plays out?

Let's hope Obama doesn't screw around and get any Americans killed for the sake of his ego.

The only President who's started a major war for his ego in recent history was a Republican. In fact, he may be the only President to ever start a war for no other reason

china won't dare to engage the US army
as i said before, they buy weapons and ships for corruption.
most of the Titles can be bought
their daily training has too many problems.
no one want to fight for china, it's not worth it.

The Chinese usually attempt to win without war. However, if need be, they will fight when their core interests are at stake. Chinese entry into the Korean War is an example.

Moreover, the Chinese Communist Party now depends on nationalism as the basis for its political legitimacy. Once they have delineated a core interest, they cannot be seen as backing down without diminishing their political legitimacy.

If China and America engage in hostilities you can blame Obama.

China has too many interests around the Panama Canal to be claiming the S. China Sea.
