Clearly no-one read the article.... LOL, I guess its TLDR for the left. Spoiler... nothing he said is anti-gay marriage  and if you don't understand what the article said perhaps try reading it slower and saying the words out loud

    Mate,
we all know you love him, but the subject is too serious to leave it to politicians to decide.....
Our nation needs to decide, plain and simple...

Love him? Don't project your degree of bias on anyone who disagrees with you consistently. Go tell Shorten to make it an election platform, oh he has already said he wont hasn't he!!!! At least the Libs will let the party room decide. If you'd read the article you'd know its got nothing to do with the PM unless you'd like him to start making captain calls about lots of various issues? He sort of gets a lot of flack when he does that so if you want gay marriage, go run for office or vote for someone who does. Attacking someone for no reason is juvenile.

A good captain lets everyone decide on such a subject! A good captain that is....................
Labor and Libs, both are becoming increasingly detached from a modern Australia, I think.

Has there ever been a referendum in Australia to decide an issue, other than changes to the constitution? I think a call to a referendum is nothing but a joke. The politicians should do their job and make same sex marriages legal now.

Yeah, let everyone stick their dicks in anyone/everyone...that's the way...just like Ireland...
Maybe we can follow Fairfax County in USA, where part of the school curriculum
from Year 7 onwards is to tell the kids that boys and girls don't exist...that sex/gender
"evolves" as we get older....yeah right....what did I say once about the demise of society..
Yeah...come home from work and stick your dick into your wifes/partners/boyfriends mouth....
    Whatever.....................

Most conservatives I know just don't want the established church's being forced to change their beliefs and practises - which I agree with.

It's not a difficult issue, just extend the discrimination protection of churches to include not having to offer all types of legal marriages - it simply becomes like an open market with different providers of marriage providing different services - consumers (of marriage) simply choose what service provider meets their needs. Then it can be legalized with no real net downside different to what is already happening anyway.

I think the LNP should do it, and do it right, else it will be left to the ALP who will stuff it up.

Its not hate, its observed reality and appropriate cautionary warning and avoidance.

But if you want to go there.... I feel sorry for you that you only see the world in such simple terms. I just dont usually go around pretending to empathize with you over an internet forum as some juvenile display of asserting that someone is biased.

PM says same-sex marriage not up to one party!

On Wednesday Treasurer Joe Hockey said legislation was voted down in 2012.

We have a partyroom view about marriage being between a man and a woman'.

I think it is only the Greens, which traditionally (since B.Brown) are in favor of same sex marriage.
ALP and LNP will do exactly what they need to do in order to please voters, those two parties are the real whores of our nation.
