I dunno how I managed to think about this but I did.
    So There.Sue me.
I was thinking about the first time I'd ever Flipped off someone.
I remember it well.It was the same time { 6th grade } that I heard
the F word.It was also the same year I made a Nun cry.
The nuns { Dominicans } taught at my grade school and this
Nun was new.A novice.Very pretty { too pretty and young to be a
Nun}.Also very New at being a Nun.She took to having a pet { teachers
pet }.However her pet was the class troublemaker and he was also
the only one allowed to use cuss words in class. It was him who
brought to my attention the F word. Also the S word. Then of course
    the Middle finger bidness.
That first day I learned about the Middle finger I was at basketball
practice..I was on the Lightweight Basketball Team in
Parochial school.I remember sitting on the stage behind one of the main
basketball hoops. It was where the 3rd stringers sat.I was constantly
Flipping off the Coach. From afar of course. My teammates kept whispering
" Don't Do That ". Yer gonna get yourself in trouble.I never did get in trouble
probably because our Coach was a really jolly guy.And tubby.
Like a Jackie Gleason ... he was.
So then I thought about how smart I musta been at the time for doing
something in retrospect was really stupid. My Mom kept telling me that
I had the highest I.Q. in the family. But I don't recall either of my 2 Brothers
    taking an I.Q. test.I don't recall having one myself.But I was tested in 8th
grade for something.By some doctor guy at the University. The tests
didn't seem to hurt mush.No probing or sticking with strange metal
contraptions.I remember going to lunch afterwards with the Doctor to
a Nice restaurant and having my First Big Boy.In Cleveland they were
known as Manners. A Manners Big Boy.I musta done good on the tests.
    Unless I was being tested for manners,as well.Whatever !
So my Mom kept bragging at the supper table about my I.Q.
Like It was really good.I remember hearing the number 119.
But that dint sound very good.Or impressive.I somewhat thought my Mom
was making up that number to make me feel good.
The Average Worldwide I.Q. is 90.It is arrived at by using a Bell
approach { Therefore - The Bell Curve - } where Traits like Intelligence
are distributed in the shape of a bell.
I don't know about any a dat.I do know ... NOW that it ain't too doggone
intelligent to flip off another person.Especially one in authority.
I think I'd like to just once see Bill O'Reilly at some dinner give a speech
and Flip him off.I would. That way I'd know for sure how Smart he is.
He looks like he'd make a Good Cop. From around the Turn-of-the-Century.
    Is all. That's all.

The old joke is that when you flip the bird it's either your IQ or the number of legitimate parents you had, (not really legitimate, but the one used then is no real insult nowadays)

IQ's become increasingly meaningless they more they go high or low. It used to be they were far more trusted as to low, but in this day of autistic savants and Rain Men that is definitely no longer the case

119 is not a bad IQ by any means but 100 is the average, that's why they made it 100. I believe 119 is the IQ of Nobel prize winner Francis Crick, of Crick and Watson DNA fame

The World's average I.Q. is 90,they report, broken down by race.
I.Q. of East Asian nations is 105.
    Europeans nations is 99.
    sub-Saharan Africa is 67.
Ethnicity and regions also play a major factor as far as Intelligence.
In some Northern European regions where the average I.Q. is 100.
it is anticipated that 4 people per 1,ooo of that region would have an
    I.Q. above 140.
There is a reason that Jews can claim more Nobel Peace prize winners than any other
ethnicity.Due to adaptability,The Jewish population includes proportionately more
individuals of higher cognitive capacity than most others.

The world's average IQ should be 100 by definition. Please quote your source.

Also, IQ tests are notoriously biased. For example, one of the early IQ tests had pictures to identify. As part of this, they had pictures of a water spigot and a snow sled. When the tests were administered in the deep South, everybody got lower scores--why? Well, at the time a lot of people in those areas didn't have running water, nor did they have snow sleds. The tests didn't really apply to them, due to that. My guess is that is why sub-Saharan African scores are so low.

Don't pass your Ignurnce around like some badge of honor. This thread
isn't about The democrat Party and how they Lie and distort and cheat.
This also isn't some SAT test where Black educators Tried to make the case
against the Book - The Bell Curve - where words like - Regatta - should never have
been used on any tests {SAT } since something like a - Regatta - is not nor should
EVER be familiar to blacks since we all now how much those in the Projects
and ghetto like to go sailing. The same case could have been made for playing Tennis.
If not for Arthur Ashe there may never have been a Vanessa Williams.
I don't think Whitey connects Jiffy Peanut butter with George Washington Carver.
    Get the drift.
It costs virtually nothing for a Parent { usually a Mom } to teach her kids
with a pencil and pad. Plus public Libraries, particularly in big city have
Free Libraries. Like in the Movie - Finding Forrester - {2000 }.
Emily Dickinson had far less access to books that the average black
inner city kid.But she wasn't out to profit like a race pimp { Al Sharpton }.
The lesson plan being ... One is as educated as they make it their business to be.,
Cultures are based in past lesson plans.
Not every culture is similar or even remotely.

    * " the World's average I.Q. is 90 " is on page 190 of :
    - A Troublesome Inheritance - by Nicholas Wade

" Nicholas Wade combines the virtues of truth without fear and the celebration
of genetic diversity as a strength of humanity, thereby creating a forum appropriate
    to the twenty-first century "

When I was in kindergarten the lady made me cry during my IQ test and I couldn't finish so they had to retest me, but then decided my score was possibly skewed higher because I had already been exposed to the test since they did not believe I could have a high IQ more or less because I was poor.

In the end, who cares. What I know or don't know on any given day swings wildly.

What matters is how groups and cultures of people test. That is a Huge indicator
or a reflection of what is taught and learned within a certain group or culture.
I don't expect someone growing up in Tahiti with Tahitian Parents to become
a Poet or even a Liberal Arts professor.Let alone a cook from the James Beard or
    Julia Child school of Cuisine.
    Things can be grouped.And Classified.
Mormons don't make good Porn stars.Blacks don't make good Saints.
It's baked into the cake.Is all.
Learn thy history.History is the lesson.

Flipping someone off is a sign of being unarmed in Texas. Inciting an argument removes your defense to prosecution in a lethal force case. It doesn't say much for intelligence either.

It's not ignorance. I've taken a graduate class on standardized tests. By definition, if a IQ test is designed to measure a particular population, then the average IQ should be 100. If a population as a whole has an IQ of less than 100, then the IQ test was not designed to measure that population. Reread my examples of early IQ tests used in the U.S.

I'm a conservative Republican, but I have standards of truth. The average IQ garbage is a lie, unless it specifies the particular test used. I have been tested by different IQ tests, and the different tests provide different scores. There is no magical thing called IQ that has an objective meaning. IQ is simply what IQ tests measure. It isn't a real thing, although it is based on real things.
