I liked Miliband, but he was too soft on legal immigration from within EU, hence 4 million votes for UKIP, enough to let the Tories win (plus a few other factors of course)

so , surely it's about time for Labour to win back these voters and ditch the metro elite stuff, and follow the Blue Labour path?

Labour lost due to the fear of an SNP-Labour coalition, UKIP's 4 million votes were always going to be around that figure, in fact I believe they would have got more votes if the people had not been so scared of an SNP-Labour "love in".

Because Labour should not be Blue. They should be red. Any colour other than Red is a lie.

The worst possible outcome of electing a blue Labour Government is to allow Red policies to be introduced into the UK.

Since the 1980's Thatcher revolution, it has changed Labour into a Party of liars, prepared to display themselves as blue simply in order to get elected & not based upon any real political thinking. If Red policies are no longer acceptable to the UK electorate, then the red party should just die & not pretend to be blue.

The only policy a blue labour Government has is to expand public sector work force, in a hope that these middle class public sector worker vote for them, I an attempt that the Public sector wage tap is not turned off.

Blue Labour is ready to ditch in-work benefits, afaik, ie: get rid of the socialist tax credit that subsidises companies, and I'm sure you would agree with that?

I would agree if Labour ditched their entire socialist agenda. I just don't believe their manifesto lies. If Tony Benn had been successful in altering the Labour Party rules, to force them to implement the election manifesto promises & if the Tony Blair decade had never happened. I might be willing to accept Labour promises.

But they are the flip-flop party say one thing to get votes & implement something quite different in power.

As much as I would like to see the Cameron Tory Government destroyed in the hope that a true Conservative political party immerge from their ashes. I think Labour are lost for ever. And pretending to be "blue labour" just prolongs their decline & ultimate destruction.
