since we heard words like these from a President of The United States? Know who those were spoken by?
It's been 10 years since we heard words like those from a President of The United States, but George W. Bush didn't deliver that speech.
Reagan. His speeches are some of the best any POTUS ever made. Sure is a complete 180 from the current POTUS blame everyone including our allies with divisive speeches.
He couldn't have. It mentions historic ties, and he changed "french fries" into "freedom fries" as soon as the oldest ally of the US didn't want to invade Iraq with them.
Well...he was an actor, from what I heard. Still, good speeches do not make a good president and during his time, he was the subject of much criticism from both Democrats and Republican's. He's also one of the presidents responsible for beginning the process where the US ceased to be a manufacturer of goods. Reagan was also divisive, lol. It's just that his more divisive speeches are not listed among his honored ones for obvious reasons. How do you think he won election in the first place?
It's a terrible concept though... loyalty for loyalty. This idea leads to us supporting dictatorships who are loyal to our government even if they are harmful to the people. We should be loyal to the people of a nation, not their government.
