The article explains implications of the Board.

"The AMA is against the Independent Payment Advisory Board, which will impose arbitrary across-the-board cuts to physicians and other providers.". Once again IMO this Board is just another means of the Federal Government attempting to cut Medicare costs(with private insurance companies to follow behind); as its stated purpose is to reduce government spending on health care through reducing fee reimbursements and cutting benefits as they see fit. Without approval of Congress. They have full control. They are not elected by the voters but appointed by HHS. Should be unconstitutional and I am sure a case will be filed to attempt to stop this process.

A panel set up to reign in Medicare spending? Sounds good to me.

Show me the proof, as under PPACA the Board has yet to become functional.

If the board has yet to be functional why are you so worried. And you probably can look up the law that created the IPAB yourself. All I was doing was refuting your ignorant claim that the ACA created the IPAB.

Wrong, "The Independent Payment Advisory Board, or IPAB, is a fifteen-member United States Government agency created in 2010 by sections 3403 and 10320 of the PPACA". It has not existed for years. You don't know what you are talking about.

It was created in 2010 as part of the PPACA. I am refuting you ignorant claim.

Was 2010 before or after the passage of the ACA. The ignorance was your trying to pretentious the IPAB was part of the ACA.

Wrong it was created as part of the 2010 PPACA. This is a fact and it cannot be disputed no matter how hard you attempt to do so.
