The XBone already looked like a 1980s VHS recorder originally. The bottom skin makes it even worse which I didn't think was possible. I seriously think that Sony managed to plant one of their employees in charge of Microsoft design and purposefully make it look as awful as it does. I mean diagonal vents.........seriously?
Definitely the bottom one, but I like retro looking stuff like that, so I'm biased. Reminds me of an old Atari Heavy Sixer.
My old NES is actually not in great shape, but the A/V Famicom I replaced it with is! My SNES didn't age overly well either, but it likewise has since been replaced by a Super Famicom that's likewise in great shape. I'll have to make sure these are better preserved, of course. My original consoles sat neglected in storage for a long while.
I cant' choose. They're both weird in a totally different yet similar way. Top looks like something you've just dug out of a buried B-24 right down to the aged looking stripes. Bottom looks like something found on a European modern sofa in a vinyl tile floored basement with knotty pine walls next to a copy of Popular Mechanics. They're both neat as cats and I still can't choose, though if I must anything with a half clad female usually wins my heart eventually
The lady in the sailor outfit straddling the bomb reminds me of WW2 nose art. It harkens back as a tribute to our historical love of misogyny in the armed forces. Stay classy. Get the wood grain.
How is that misogyny? Nothing about that indicates a hate for women. Now, it might be objectifying women, but that's not misogyny.
I don't know, when you put it like that I like the first one haha! But no really, I do like the first one because it harken back to the bombers, but the second does seem more classy. And mature haha. I just imagine a girlfriend saying the first clashes with the decor haha
Yeah but I honestly don't plan on keeping it forever. The only silly downside to it is that when you use your Xbox account to buy something on Xbox, you won't be able to access it in the newer version. I'm fine with that on games, but with movies and shows it doesn't make any sense. Besides that, I'm looking forward to treating my xbox one like a piece of old crap - and I actually think it's amazing. The tech just moves forward so fast.
