The question is never asked, but can Iran trust America? America has surrounded Iran with massive military forces, sent spies in, invaded Iran's airspace with drones and tried to destroy Iran's economy. Even now, the paid for arm's dealers' politicians are trying to destroy the deal, and one presidential candidate is clearly against it. So, can Iran trust America?
Also, America assisted Saddam's Iraq against Iran, after Iran removed the American installed dictator, put in place to replace Iran's democratically elected government (that the CIA removed).
Yes.. I think so.. The US wants this to work.. however, there is some small possibility of a false flag operation by other players.
There is a LOT riding on this Gamble. Iran really was given a PASS and that alone should...if Iran is serious about working with the U.S. to end this possible debacle....give Iran a bit of trust. If Iran does not follow though with the deal....this entire thing is gong to come down to Military Force. AboveAlpha
Well for the next 18 months they probably can. Obama's senior adviser Valerie Jarrett was born in Iran and lived in Iran before moving to Chicago for her communist indoctrination. Obama has been the best thing to happen to radical Islam since Muhammad lost his virginity to a camel.
Who could read American history post ww2 and trust America? There is a tiny group that have integrity in DC, but it is very small. You cannot keep integrity when you sold out the republic and turned us into an oligarchy, get serious. If you can trust greed driven predatory capitalists, then you can trust America. The way we operate is we go in and create problems by our incessant meddling, and then when the blowback comes, as it always will, we act like we are blameless, and its the other that we screwed over that are to blame. How do you trust a nation that operates like that? And then you have those useless minds on the right who view reality through a shoot em up Hollywood film, forgetting that these films are fiction and the real world doesn't script out like that. LOL The number of intelligent citizens in this nation is at an all time low. Conditioned by propaganda and happy in their ignorance. The American people, unlike what the politicians say, are not that bright anymore. We had more sense when we were learning using books and blackboards. As the greatest generation died out, we were left with idiots who believe Hollywood is reality. What would brighten us up in a hurry is to bring the draft back, so all of these idiots could see war up close. Then they would not be so eager to send others to do the dying, as they sat back in their recliners and drank their beer being entertained by the explosions and gunfire, happening on the other side of the world.
They certainly have reasons not to... Iran Had a Democracy Before We Took It Away http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/20090622_iran_had_a_democracy_before_we_took_it_away
Yes, when Iran was an American sponsored dictatorship, and America was supplying arms to Iran. Perhaps you didn't want that bit mentioning. So much for you as a poster. Stupidity is no substitute for making valid argument.
Iran HAS to trust America. At this point for Teheran there are no other choices, but to follow the path indicated by the White House. Of course, excluding the option of the open conflict ...
The United States government has become so disfunctional that Iran would be foolish to believe it will be able to do as it says it will. Since Obama was initially elected the GOP has done pretty much what it said it would and blocked everything he tries to do with everything they can. This attitude is often successful and could very well table this whole process, and make the country seem a fool in the eyes of the entire world. Iran should be very wary of this deal...as should we, based on the Iranian history of dishonesty.
Iran has been the victim of American imperialism since the early 1950s. It is time to leave them alone.
Not under President Lawn Chair's watch, AA. Bashar al-Assad has already proven that Obama will fold when people cross his "red lines"...
Good post! Another factor regarding the decline of America is that Eisenhower's worst nightmares regarding the Military Industrial Complex have come to pass with a vengeance.
Man... why so deceitful? Jarrett's family returned to the US when she was five... Iran always had a large community of expat Americans. You've been there of course?
Some have and some haven't. Those who haven't are in the middle east itself. But time will tell. No one knows for sure if this was a good deal or a bad deal. It will take 3 or 4 years before we or anyone can have a true grasp on how this deal is working out. It is not time for doom and gloom or for hallelujahs and dancing in the aisle. I think we should be looking at the deal with apprehension at this point as we are not sure how it will work out.
To do what? Our part of the deal is lifting sanctions -- talking and trading with them. Iran's part is not to secretly build a nuclear device or secretly support terrorists killing us and our allies. What we're offering is right out there in the open, no trust is required. Iran is the one asking us to take their part on trust. But do we feel hostility towards Iran? ... I think you can trust that a lot of us do. If Iran wants to change those opinions the solutions are also out in the open: change how they decorate their buildings for a start.
let me add more! first of all read this article: Seven Things You Didn’t Know the U.S. and Its Allies Did to Iran: https://firstlook.org/theintercept/2015/04/07/10-things-didnt-know-weve-done-iran/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- but I can add other things to that: for United States support for Iraq during the Iran–Iraq war: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_support_for_Iraq_during_the_Iran–Iraq_war CIA Files Prove America Helped Saddam as He Gassed Iran : http://foreignpolicy.com/2013/08/26...rove-america-helped-saddam-as-he-gassed-iran/ US supported Shah who was a decorator and killed thousands of Iranian during revolution.also helped him establish Savak which killed many Iranian by torture during those years US support MKO , a terrorist group that terrorized a bout 17 thousands of Iranian!and helped Saddam in war against Iran http://www.tasnimnews.com/English/Home/Single/655694 The Stuxnet Attack On Iran's Nuclear Plant Was 'Far More Dangerous' Than Previously Thought : http://www.businessinsider.com/stuxnet-was-far-more-dangerous-than-previous-thought-2013-11 US presidents always threat Iran and they say they will attack Iran! "all options are on the table!" and many many more....so I guess U got your answer!
No....even Obama cannot pass a crisis of this nature along to the next U.S. President. We will know what path Iran has chosen in 2 years. The 2 year wait will NOT make a difference for the U.S. Militaries ability to invade Iran and seize all Nuclear sites. AboveAlpha
