Many say that there is a 'race problem' in America. While this is generally accepted as a true statement, people often disagree about the actual nature of this 'race problem'. I'm of the opinion that whites suffer a disproportionate amount of violence from non-whites (especially when % of populace is considered). I'm also of the opinion that whites who are the victims of non-white perpetrators, are often selected due to their ethnicity. In short, there's a side to this 'race problem', which is both more relevant statistically, and grossly under-reported; hence the purpose of this thread. I intend to post videos/articles (and encourage others to contribute) which illustrate my point.

A thread of this sort shouldn't be necessary, if it weren't for a mainstream media that has an apparent bias in the reporting of incidents where different races are concerned. A thread of this nature wouldn't be necessary if there wasn't such disingenuousness concerning this topic. I believe it's necessary for some to have visual aid, to have a quantitative source of information to see and understand that racism is more tilted in one direction than the other, and to see that our media (and populace I suppose) has a bias concerning what draws outrage, has a bias concerning what type of incident should ignite a nation wide debate about race relations in America.

Police are seeking the public's help in finding two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery in Brewerytown.

In surveillance video released by police Wednesday, two unknown males can be seen approaching the owner of The Tropicana Bar at 2800 Oxford St. while he is walking to his car on Aug. 15 at 2:35 a.m.

One of the suspects removes an object from his pants and places it to the man's back, taking his cellphone and cash, police said. The victim is then shoved to the ground, and both suspects flee.

The suspects were last seen heading east on Oxford Street.

Police describe the suspects as follows:

Suspect 1: Black male, early to mid 20s, mustache with a goatee and wearing a white T-shirt.
Suspect 2: Black male, early to mid 20s, beard with a mustache and wearing a black T-shirt.

The MSM will never mention it but Blacks dominate interracial crime against other ethnic/racial groups, be they White, Hispanic, Asian or whatever. Yet they scream racism. Go figure that one.

Three men in their early twenties were arrested at Seattle Hempfest Sunday night after a pair of siblings were robbed of an iPhone and assaulted at the annual celebration of marijuana.

How unchill.

Hempfest security officers notified Seattle police about 6:03 p.m. of a fight that occurred at Myrtle Edwards Park beneath the Thomas Street overpass.

Port of Seattle officers flagged down by festival attendees detained a 21-year-old Auburn man, a 22-year-old Auburn man and a 23-year-old Kent man in connection with the incident, court documents indicate.

Police found 24-year-old man and his 27-year-old sister in the medic tent, who relayed that the sister's iPhone was forcibly taken and they were both assaulted by three men.

The woman told cops that a stranger, later identified as the 23-year-old Kent man, reached around her waist and snatched her iPhone 6+ from her hand while she was walking through the festival with her brother, according to probable cause reports. Her brother confronted the man, prompting the man to punch the brother in the face.

The robber took off with two other men, later identified as the men from Auburn, reports say. However, the siblings followed the group in an effort to retake the phone. The group of three men turned to confront the siblings, at which point the Kent man tussled with the brother on the ground and the other two men threw the sister to the ground, reports say.

All three men then kicked the brother several times in the head and body until Hempfest security and attendees pulled the men off the 24-year-old man, according to police accounts.

Police wrote that the 24-year-old man's left eye was bruised and swollen shut, his face was scratched and his nose bled "profusely," reports indicate. Medics who examined the man determined he likely suffered a broken left orbital bone and nose.

Police officers found out the 21-year-old man detained had a King County Sheriff's Office warrant for felony burglary. He was booked into King County Jail for the warrant and for investigation of assault and is held on $100,000 bail. The Kent man was booked for investigation of robbery and assault and is held on $150,000. The other man from Auburn was booked for investigation of assault and his bail was set at $75,000.

Police on Wednesday booked a 22-year-old Omaha man identified as a suspect in the assault and robbery of an elderly woman in the back of St. Cecilia Cathedral. They also arrested his mother.
Wayman Clark of Omaha was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of robbery, said Officer Michael Pecha, a police spokesman. Clark’s mother, Charlean Clark, 53, of Omaha, was booked on suspicion of being an accessory to a felony for harboring a fugitive, a felony.
A felony warrant for Wayman Clark was issued earlier Wednesday after members of the Omaha Police Department’s gang unit thought they recognized him as one of two assailants seen in a surveillance video. Crime Stoppers also received several tips indicating that Clark may have been involved, Pecha said.
Officers with the gang unit and members of the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force located both Clarks shortly before noon in a vehicle at an apartment complex near 137th and Harrison Streets. Police have not identified a second suspect in the assault and robbery Sunday at St. Cecilia Cathedral, 701 N. 40th St.
Charlean Clark, speaking to a reporter from a relative’s phone Wednesday afternoon, said the family had no comment.
St. Cecilia released surveillance video that shows one man striking a 76-year-old Johnston, Iowa, woman after another man stole her purse. The incident occurred at 11:06 a.m. in the north vestibule of the church.
One of two men approached the 5-foot-6, 150-pound woman from behind and grabbed her purse before running out the door. The second man can be seen hitting the woman squarely on the side of her face, knocking her down. She hit her head on the side of the table as she fell.
Surveillance cameras mounted outside show the attackers running out the door, down Burt Street to 39th Street and then north toward Cuming Street, said the Rev. James Netusil of St. Cecilia. He estimated that the assailants were between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10. Wayman Clark is 5-foot-10.
According to Douglas County Court records, Wayman Clark was sentenced in 2012 to one year in the state prison system for theft by receiving stolen property, a felony. He also has been convicted for carrying a concealed weapon. When he was 17, Clark ran away from the Clarinda (Iowa) Academy, a residential facility for at-risk and delinquent teenagers.
A search of Nebraska court records did not turn up any felony convictions for Charlean Clark.

UPDATE: Two suspects have been arrested and a third is wanted in connection with a robbery caught on video.

Dustin Francis, 25, and 18-year-old Keri Bruno Jr., both of Lafayette, were arrested for second-degree robbery.

A third suspect, 33-year-old Candy Dupuis, is wanted for principal to second-degree robbery. She's accused of conspiring with the other two suspects to beat and rob the victim.

One person has been arrested and another is still wanted, after a robbery at a store in the 100 block of East Gloria Switch Road. Thousands of you shared the surveillance video that shows the attack from KATC's Facebook page Monday.

25-year-old Dustin Francis of Lafayette has been arrested for Second Degree Robbery. A warrant for 18-year-old Keri Bruno, Jr. of Lafayette has been issued. Francis and Bruno are accused of robbing the victim by repeatedly striking him and knocking him unconscious.

Lafayette Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding Keri Bruno, Jr.'s location to contact Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.

White father shot in the legs trying to prevent black teen(s) from entering his home during a violent home invasion. A suspect also fired shots at the mother as she fled with an infant -

The man’s wife, Whitney Lash, escaped with a baby in her arms.

Atlanta police told Channel 2’s Richard Elliot that the home invasion on Sumter Street over the weekend is a priority.

Elliot also obtained the 911 call that the wife made as the teens were inside their house.

“What's going on? Tell me what you see,” the 911 operator said.

“I just ran outside with my baby. There's a black young man at the front door. He just pulled a gun on my husband,” Lash said.

That was the call Lash made the moment police say a group of teenagers busted in through their northwest Atlanta front door and shot her husband Mike in the leg.

Investigators say the teens were there to rob the Lashes as they returned home from vacation.

As they forced their way in, they shot Mike Lash then chased Whitney out the back door as she carried her 6-month-old daughter.

Police say they even fired shots at her.

The incident has many in the neighborhood on edge. Those fears were the focus of a community meeting Tuesday night at Fire Station 28 on Hollywood Road, not far from where the attack happened.

“It is scary when you're not used to it," Don Penovi told Channel 2’s Carl Willis. "We're kind of in a transition area. We get stuff like this, but they get it in Buckhead. They get it everywhere."

Neighbors told Willis they were glad there was a big turnout for the meeting.

"What I really liked, I don't know if it was what I heard, but I thought I saw, it was a really well attended meeting," Penovi said. "We've got to have continued pressure on the police to come out here."

Tuesday, Atlanta police said they are collecting evidence including the bullets fired at the couple's home on Sumter Street.

“Our investigators are continuing to gather information. At this point, we have gathered fragments as well as bullets and sent those off to the GBI for analysis,” said Officer Ralph Woolfolk with the Atlanta Police Department.

APD is also looking at nearby businesses for security video that may show these teens before or after the home invasion.

And the GBI is working up a sketch of the perpetrators.

APD plans to release that sketch as soon as it gets it.

NORWOOD, Ohio (Angenette Levy) -- Cellphone video posted on Facebook showed a group of teens punching and kicking a 13-year-old boy outside a church festival.

The attack happened Sunday afternoon, August 9, near the Holy Trinity Church festival. The boy who was beaten didn't want to tell his grandmother about what had happened but the video started to spread on Facebook.

"You guys don't know what that video's like to watch when it's your own kid. And I don't know how a parent can watch it - even the kids that did that. How could they watch that video and accept that," Mary Baker said Monday, August 10.

Baker was told by a doctor to keep an eye on her grandson for signs of a concussion. He has a big knot on the back of his head.

Baker said her grandson did not fight back because he feared he'd be kicked off the Norwood Junior High football team which has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to fighting.

Kim Watkins's son actually shot the video which is difficult for her to watch. Watkins said the same group of kids was hanging out on some steps across the street from her home when they threatened her son earlier in the day.

"I came out and tried to shoo them away. They cursed at me, they called me names they threatened to shoot my house up," Watkins said.

Watkins told her son to shoot any bad behavior he saw with his cellphone. Police used the video to identify the attackers.

"You see these videos on social media and it's getting very disturbing to me that nothing seems to be done but we're going to do something," said Lt. Ron Murphy of the Norwood Police Dept.

As the investigation continues Mary Baker said she wants the teens punished and wonders why their parents allow them to act in such a way.

"What if it happened to them? How would they feel? They need to get some discipline. Apparently someone's not paying attention," Mary Baker said.

Police have identified six of the seven boys in the video. All will likely be charged with assault.

Greene County prosecutors charged six people from out of the city on Thursday for beating a couple last August in downtown following a concert. Police believe the men are all part of a rap group called Chain Gang that had just finished its concert.

Police released a video showing a group of people attacking a couple outside a nightclub.
The video of the assaults went viral as police asked people to help them identify the assailants.

Those charged are Quenten Warren , 22, Aaron Whittington, 25, Andre Shephard, 20, all of St. Robert; Mark Keleise, 27, of Laquey, Ricky Johnson, 27, of Waynesville, and Kenny Presley, 25, of Little Rock, Ark. They're each charged with two counts of second-degree assault.

Last Aug. 22, Springfield Police officers learned of the assault and went to the scene but were unable to catch most of the assailants as they ran away. Officers detained one of the men, but the assault victims weren't able to positively identify him as one of the attackers.

Police later released the video of the assault and got tips about who they were.

Meredith Cole says a group of men tried to sexually assault her outside a nightclub on South Avenue. She grabbed her boyfriend, Alex Vessey, and then six men started viciously beating him, punching and kicking him repeatedly, even after he had fallen to the ground.

At least one of the men also punched Cole in the head. Both she and Vessey had to be taken to a hospital. She suffered a fractured ankle in the attack.

Police say Chain Gang performed at Outland Ballroom, 326 South Ave., near the tunnel that goes to a drive-through window of Systematic Savings and Loan, 318 South Ave. The tunnel is where Cole and Vessey were assaulted. Vessey was the DJ at the rap concert.

Police say one of the men touched Cole inappropriately outside the Outland when she approached them for autographs. That occurred after one of the men asked her for a cigarette.

Cole and Vessey went to talk to the group of men and were told her groper had gone in the tunnel. When the couple went there, they were attacked.

Prosecutors requested bonds of $20,000 for each of the defendants. None of the men were in the Greene County jail on Thursday, and none appear to have been booked there in recent months, but police said last September that at least two of them were in jail in other counties for other crimes, and they thought then that they knew the names of most or all the assailants.

After police thought they had identified the attackers from the video, they started to contact them. Some wouldn't talk to them. A detective interviewed Presley, who said the reason he followed Vessey and Cole into the tunnel was because the group believed they were owed money for the concert, and the assault "had something to do with him not getting paid," according to the probable cause statements against the six men.

White male has throat slashed, apparently over his inter-racial relationship -

Authorities are looking for two suspects they say attacked a random couple in Queens, slashing the man's throat in what police are investigating as a racially motivated act of violence.
Police say the 24-year-old victim was walking with his girlfriend near Seneca and Gates avenues in Ridgewood early Thursday when a man and woman ran across the street into their path.
Parents of Baby Found Dead in Hotel Were Set to Appear on "Maury"
The male suspect walked up to the victim and said in Spanish, "I'm going to kill you, white boy," then slashed his throat with an unknown object while the female suspect acted as a lookout, police say.
The duo ran off after the attack. The victim needed multiple stitches to close up the wound to his throat, police said.

Disturbing video has surfaced online showing an unconscious man being mocked and laughed at by onlookers after he was beaten to a bloody pulp by a gang of youths.
Yea, na, you just got knocked the fk out! one of the spectators can be heard saying, as the rest of the unruly mob howls in amazement.
Someone please call 911, the group chants jokingly, in reference to a Wyclef Jean song featuring Mary J. Blige.

The video was filmed in Cincinnati late Saturday as chaos erupted in Fountain Square after a Fourth of July hip-hop and electronica concert ended nearby.
It was originally posted to the Facebook account of QbabyOfTeamQ a self-described rapper, dancer, singer and producer from the area who has been seen on Fox & MTV, according to his Twitter page.
While thousands of people poured into the citys streets around 11 p.m. including fans from a Reds baseball game that had also just let out around 50 to 100 people began attacking police with fireworks, glass bottles and other items.
In the midst of the pandemonium, bystanders on the south side of nearby Government Square stumbled upon the unidentified assault victim and began ridiculing him.
The man had been attacked by a violent mob of rioters just moments before, according to an anonymous statement purportedly posted online by a Cincinnati police officer who was at the scene.
Speaking to local sports blog Cincinnati Vs. Everyone, the cop gave his first-person account of what he claims happened late Saturday, when he saw the vicious assault unfold.
So after my 4th of July night from hell I thought I would post the truth as to what went on last night in Downtown Cincinnati, he writes.
So we see ahead a scuffle begin and think its just a fight. Well not so much, it was like 40 v. 1. I saw 40 v. 1, it was 40 black youths stomping the crap out of one unlucky male, white. He didnt do anything to deserve this beating except be white. Im going to skip all the rhetoric and just say dont we all matter??? This just pissed us all off. Time to rescue or at least try to get these thugs off of him. So we were sent in with shields and arrest team to do a victim rescue. Feel bad for the guy since he nor anyone deserved a beat down like that for no reason.
On Monday, additional video was posted to YouTube showing a portion of the assault. The footage was captured from inside a city bus by a passenger who believes the brawl was sparked after the white victim bumped into a black dude.
No charges have been filed in the attack, but police told Cincinnati.com that an investigation was under way. Cops claimed the victim was innocent and had been treated and released at a nearby hospital.
When the smoke cleared early Sunday, two people were Tased and seven were arrested, including four adults and three juveniles, according to police.
I hope every one of the people who threw a bottle, fired a handgun, threw fireworks at us, and most importantly beat that poor guy within inches of his life get what they deservein this life or the next, wrote the Cincinnati cop, who wished to not be named. I felt like I had to tell the truth and get the word out there from one of the men on the front line. We as an American Society and Cincinnatians need to get our st together because these types of interactions are going to increase. I say it again, this stuff is increasing not only here at home but across the country. We need to come together and fight back.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A 17-year-old has been charged Friday as an adult in connection with a recent video showing an assault near Rosa Parks Circle.

According to the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office, Gary Allen Woods-Caston is facing a charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder in connection with the July 28 incident. Grand Rapids Police announced Thursday that five arrests were made after the video was released.

Police posted video of the assault on their Facebook page Aug. 3.

Woods-Caston is the only suspect to be identified by officials, but the other four juveniles are expected to face similar charges.

The assault charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and/or a $5,000 fine. Woods-Caston is expected back in court Aug. 21 at 8:30 a.m. for a probable cause hearing, according to officials with 61st District Court.

White male beaten for inter-racial relationship -

A Georgia man was left bloodied and bruised after he was brutally attacked for dating an African-American girl.
The interracial couple were strolling through Ellis Square, a public space in Savannah, shortly before midnight last Friday, when they say three black men began taunting them.
The provocation began as racial slurs, then the scoffers started blowing kisses and suddenly the trio jumped the boyfriend, Andrew Quade - who is white, beating him and leaving him barely conscious.

The violent response to the mixed-race romance has left the couple in shock that such vicious intolerance still exists.
'This shouldn't happen in this day in age. I know we're in the South and all that, but it's time for a change,' the girlfriend, Olufisayo Bakre, told WTOC-TV news.

The couple say they were simply minding their own business as they walked through the Savannah spot, one of the busiest squares in the historic downtown, known for being the epitome of Southern charm.
Then the group targeted the couple.
'One of them was making racial comments at us and one of the them was blowing kisses. It was a very aggravating situation to be in,' Bakre explained.

Quade, 23, said he tried to stay calm and just keep moving when the insults began.
'I didn't want to like freak out on them,' he told the local news station.
'I was trying to gain a little more knowledge about the situation and before we could even do that, it was just bam bam.'
He said everything happened so quickly when the gang attacked him, that he doesn't even have a clear picture in his mind of the fight.

The next thing he remembered was waking up in an ambulance.
'He was basically left for dead,' Bakre said of the terrifying ordeal.
'I was trying to pry them off and before I knew it he was on the floor. It happened all so quickly,' she added.
Bakre insisted that the couple did nothing to provoke the brawl and is confident that the pair's racial difference is what motivated the confrontation.

'Definitely, it's that simple,' she said, with Quade adding that there just wasn't 'any logical reason they would have to just go all out like that.'
Bakre said that being an interracial couple in the U.S. South has come with its challenges but nothing that has ever escalated to this kind of violence.
'The worst we'll get will be a stare or like a snicker here or there but not physical contact,' she said.

Police are now investigating and searching for the perpetrators.
They are reviewing surveillance video of the clash but say the footage is grainy and the cameras were located far away from the incident, so it is difficult to make out the faces of the assailants.
'I just hope they get caught. I just hope justice prevails at the end of the day,' Bakre said.

In short, there's a side to this 'race problem', which is both more relevant statistically, and grossly under-reported; hence the purpose of this thread. I intend to post videos/articles (and encourage others to contribute) which illustrate my point.

A thread of this sort shouldn't be necessary, if it weren't for a mainstream media that has an apparent bias in the reporting of incidents where different races are concerned. A thread of this nature wouldn't be necessary if there wasn't such disingenuousness concerning this topic. I believe it's necessary for some to have visual aid, to have a quantitative source of information to see and understand that racism is more tilted in one direction than the other, and to see that our media (and populace I suppose) has a bias concerning what draws outrage, has a bias concerning what type of incident should ignite a nation wide debate about race relations in America.

Black male shoots and kills two white reporters, one male, one female. In part, race appears to be a motive -

A man who was fired from his job as a television reporter two years ago took revenge against the small-town Virginia news station by executing two of his former coworkers on live television, and then posting disturbing first-person video of the attack on social media.
Viewers of WDBJ, a CBS affiliate in Moneta, Virginia, watched in horror this morning as Vester Lee Flanagan II, 41, shot dead 24-year-old reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, on live TV as the two were filming a light-hearted segment at 6:45am.
After carrying out the shocking on-air execution, Ward fled and posted video of the attack on social media while also writing about his grudges against the two young journalists in a Twitter rant.
He also faxed a 23-page manifesto-cum-suicide note to a national news station outlining his motives for the attack, saying he bought the handgun he used following the Charleston Church killings, adding: 'my hollow point bullets have the victims initials on them'.
Five hours later, police cornered Flanagan a three hours drive northeast in Fauquier County, Virginia where he shot himself in an attempt to commit suicide. Flanagan initially survived the gunshot wound, but died not long after at approximately 1:30pm

This black reporter was fired by the TV station and he reportedly threw some objects when it happened. The shooter also claimed that the white female reporter used a racial slur, which may be the main motive of the heinous crime. I personally got involved in the dismissal of a half black teacher in Australia, who was racially abusive, and things could get really messy when someone is sacked for whatever the reason.

The teenager who attacked another girl as she held her 3-year-old cousin in a shocking fight at a Texas elementary school has been identified as a 13-year-old, police said.
A warrant has been issued for the young teen after she was caught on camera attacking her 14-year-old peer at Herfurth Elementary School in Rowlett.
Rowlett police said the family of the girl, whose name will not be released because of her age, are making arrangements to deliver her into custody as she is currently out of town.
The police wrote in a previous Facebook post on Saturday that 'the suspect and her guardian' had gone 'into hiding' after being made aware of the warrant.

Speaking to CBS DFW, authorities said several teenagers came over to the 14-year-old victim and her sister before the June 19 attack.
The video shows the 13-year-old attacker standing with a pal over the victim and her sister as they sit on a bench.
The attacker can be heard shouting at the girl - who sits holding her niece - to 'get up.'
Det. Cruz Hernandez told the affiliate station: '[The victim] didn't want to fight. You can see that on the video. She remained seated. You know she's - she didn't see no reason to fight.'

When she appears to not respond, the attacker eventually pulls the teenager from the bench.
Using her right arm, she grabs a chunk of the victim's hair, pulling her off the bench and causing the child to hit the ground.
The small child screams in pain soon after landing. CBS DFW reported the child had minor injuries.
Hernandez told the television station: 'That is a felony of the third degree, if you injure a child under the age of 14.'

The attacker then drags the victim by the hair onto grass, where she pounds her across the face, head and chest.
In the background, the girl's sister can be heard pleading with the attacker to let her go, begging for her to 'get off' as she stands over the pair.
While that's going on, the injured toddler continues to cry.
The video was uploaded to media sharing website LiveLeak.com earlier this week, and has been viewed over 600,000 times.

Cab driver and white passenger attacked by black teens who were yelling racially derogatory words during assault -

In a horrific assault in Center City Saturday night, three teenagers who were spouting off racial slurs pulled a man out of a cab to beat him and when the cab driver intervened to stop the assault, the teens turned their rage on him, according to police.

Around 8:23 p.m., a Liberty Taxi cab was stopped at a red light at 15th and Chestnut streets when two 17-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy approached the cab and started calling the male passenger in the back seat racially derogatory names, police said.

The boys then threw an unknown liquid at the cab before they opened the door and pulled the passenger out and started pummeling him, according to police.

When the cabbie got out of the car to see what was going on, the passenger ran away and the teens turned on the cabbie. They punched him in the face, kicked him and threw an unknown liquid on him, police said.

Despite being outnumbered, the cabbie was able to grab a tire iron from his trunk at which time the teens ran away. The taxi driver was able to flag down a nearby officer and all three boys were arrested and charged as juveniles with aggravated assault and related offenses.

The cab driver suffered an injury to his right eye and had stomach and side pain, police said. The passenger remains unidentified.

Police said the three teens were black and the cabbie and passenger were white. Police did not immediately know if the teens would or could face hate crime charges.
