I once saw a large pot full of sheep testicles boiling on a campfire for the evening's meal. I'd eat eggs at every meal, before I ate that.
Afghanistan? As for the OP, no eggs are not disgusting. It just depends on how you prepare them. I find creamed spinach far more revolting.
I have eaten calves testicles in West Texas.. I was the guest of honor so I really had no choice in this "feast".. They were battered in Masa flour and deep fried.. After three Lonestars I grinned and ate them.. They were "fluffy". - - - Updated - - - Oh man.. I love raw oysters.. I could eat my weight in them.. My children would stand on tippy toes for their daddy to give them an oyster.
The only time egg would be disgusting is if you crack it open to find a baby chick fetus. That....is not so good
I LOVE RAW OYSTER'S!!! Yummmy, a lil lemon an Tabasco....mmmm.mmm. But don't get me wrong, cant make a good pasta carbonara with out raw egg/chicken period. To each there own i guess.
I'll admit I've wondered about the sanity of the first person who watched a chicken lay an egg and said, "Um, um, um, I'm gonna eat that!" There is probably nothing I would not at least try to eat. Mountain oysters (testicles) are good if prepared correctly, but it's easy to have them turn out too tough and chewy. They need to be par-boiled. If something unappetizing is placed in front of me, I'll always take at least a tiny bite. Just to say I did, if for no other reason.
Eggs basted in bacon fat....YUMMMMM Oh Yeah...Don't ferget the Tabasco....Jest double up on your Atrovastatin.....LOL
Oatmeal, no, I don't care how healthy it is, I won't eat snot. No food is disgusting. I remember watching a NatGeo thingie where these natives from Amazonia were eating these spiders about the size of a dinner plate. They were going on about how they had to be very careful to roast all the poisonous hairs off them or they would die in agony, but it was worth it because they were such a delicacy.
No. It's a nutritious food like the chicken. I see nothing disgusting about fried eggs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs....however you want to make them.
Rocky Mountain Oysters. If I still owned a plane, I would fly to Amarillo today and go to the Big Texan and order a large order of Rocky Mountain Oysters (deep fried bull balls) and a 16 oz. rib eye steak. (medium rare)
