All this nonsense about lethal injection, electric chairs and gas chambers. Why not just a shotgun to the back of the head. Instant death. minute cost.

Killing prisoners is not allowed in any European Union state because it is barbaric.

Cave men ate, slept, painted, and fornicated, just as we do. Lots of things are barbaric. So what?

Cave men also killed, stole, kidnapped, raped and beat other people. Yes you are right, lots of things are barbaric. Then we decided to organize communities to cooperate and developed new social covenants to engender a sense of morality that facilitated that organization and structure.

You are mistaken, killing prisoners has never been allowed in the European Union.

No I mean Europeans in general. It is part of your history and the EU is well so temporary.

If all prisoners are counted (including juvenile, territorial, ICE, Indian country, and military), then in 2008 the USA had around 24.7% of the world's 9.8 million prisoners. The United States, which kills prisoners, has the highest documented incarceration rate in the world, at 754 per 100,000 (as of 2009).

Are you claiming that the EU has more psychotic criminals than the world average or the US average or what? Please give supporting evidence for you comparison.

Why waste taxpayer money on killing them. Send them into the ME. Tell them, they will be free to do as they wish by killing Daesh, AQ, and any other terrorists they have.

If they survive.....that is their pardon. Oh and there is no coming back or we will just kill them on the spot.

This is because the US is the best at catching and prosecuting criminals. Other nations are not nearly so good and allow most of their criminals to fall through the cracks to further victimize more people.

With any luck the European Union will collapse soon, and then we can all go back to burning heretics at the stake.

I could well agree with summary execution of those who are guilty of heinous crimes.
There were those who raped a young girl, and then set her on fire to kill her. She actually survived until she had contacted someone for help, and died later.
There are MANY such cases. My thinking is not nearly as "humane" as a shotgun to the head. I say tie 'em up, and toss them on the fuel conveyor in a coal fired power plant. Then we'd have a new death row nick name: "2watt".

I like the way Hammurabi did it, an eye for an eye.

Oh you raped this girl and beat her to death? I'm gonna give the biggest inmate in here a spoon and tell him to pull out your eye and rape the socket until your dead,

The punishment should be as heinous as the crime, when you commit a crime you become indebted, you must pay that debt back,

    I disagree.

Just take out the rubbish. Blow the head off and dispose.
