I believe that Mrs. Mary Cleaver is correct...... P. M. Stephen Harper has underestimated what Canadians really want.

Dear Mr. Harper,
I live in BC with my husband and two little girls. I grew up in Calgary and have many friends and family members there. Im white and in my early 40s. One of us is a stay at home parent, so we benefit 100% from the direct deposits in lieu of a national childcare program. We also benefit 100% from income splitting. And we can afford to take advantage of the increased allowance in our TFSAs.

In other words, we're the picture of the family who benefits the most from your economic policies.

But we're not voting Conservative on October 19th.

You see, you've misjudged us. We enjoy our standard of living, we work hard for it but it's not the only thing that matters to us.

You assume we don't care about our first nations neighbours, or Canadians trying to bring their family members here from war torn countries. That we don't care about less fortunate Canadians, our veterans, or scientists. You think we don't mind that to save a few bucks and balance the books we axed the census, dumped decades of research from our libraries, cut funding to CBC, underspent our budgets in important departments and closed coast guard stations. You figure we no longer want our lakes and rivers protected and that we don't understand that climate change is a far greater risk to our way of life than Barbaric Cultural Practices.

You've underestimated us.

On October 19, we're not voting for our bank balance. We're voting for change because we want the caring Canada of our youth back. The Canada that supported our single mothers that gave us the opportunity to succeed in the first place.

It is my belief that I must concentrate on the positive characteristics that each person has. (As you can easily see from my signature).

I personally am a "pro-life blue Liberal" and I was so impressed by how P. M. Stephen Harper handled the G-8 in 2011 that I was tempted to vote for the local Conservative Party candidate Mr. Fred Delorey.

A big problem for Fred.......... in my particular case... is that Mr. Sean Fraser is exactly the type of person who I wanted to send to Ottawa. The fact that Mr. Fraser had done volunteerism in South Africa meant a great deal to me.

In my opinion, if Mr. Justin Trudeau becomes Prime Minister of Canada on October 19, (and if Mr. Harper decides to take a break from Canadian politics), I am hoping that P. M. Trudeau would soon begin to discuss whether or not former P. M. Stephen Harper would be willing to become Canada's Ambassador to Israel.

I am a member of a different Canadian political party but……… I have to admit that P. M. Stephen Harper is for good reason regarded as a rather "Davidic" figure by a high percentage of Israelis.

What he did for Israel back in 2011 at the G-8 was one of the most courageous and wise acts by a political leader that I have seen since I began to watch world events back in the '70's!

Alone among G8 leaders, the Canadian Prime Minister refuses to embrace the U.S. President's plan to begin peace negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis on the basis of a return to Israel's de facto borders as they existed before its 1967 war with neighbouring Arab countries - a precondition, accepted by Arabs and by many previous Israeli leaders and Canadian governments, that would be necessary to get Palestinians back to the table.

Mr. Harper made his opposition to that position clear through a spokesperson shortly after Mr. Obama's Middle East speech last week in a pre-G8 briefing, making him the lone leader in the G8 not to back the U.S. preconditions.

A unified statement on a negotiated path to a Palestinian state had been a key goal of the Deauville summit, in large part because such a statement might have pre-empted an attempt to pass a United Nations resolution that would declare a Palestinian state against

Several months ago I checked out one of the Liberal Party Facebook groups or pages and there was a post there about "getting rid of Stephen Harper."

In my opinion, P. M. Stephen Harper is NOT somebody that any intelligent political leader would simply want to get rid of.

He is the most popular political leader in the world from the viewpoint of citizens of Israel, and this fact can be used to set in motion a win - win - win - win scenario for Canadians, Israelis, Jordanians, Americans and all seven billion people in all the earth.
