    Mornin People of the Strange Brews. [​IMG] The weekend has arrived. This morning I have to go to the Times for some training. Sunday is my Last Day with the Tribune. Monday I Officially start and will be working for the Times. We will see how long it lasts before the Trib comes back around and buys them out.

    In the meantime.....they have said we should expect frost on the ground tomorrow morning. Looks like old man winter has finally stirred himself awake.

    Not 62 times.Even Tammy wouldn't leave the river and still use dat excuse about

    The Tribune.? I thought a " tribune " was some sort of tribune.Like you go to
    a tribune dressed in yer best tribune clothes and watch udder tribunites act all
    tribunnie { or Tribunny on Easter } and watch how each tribunnie picks either
    sweet & sour sauce or ranch dressing at the tribune buffet table during a Tribune
    luncheon.But then I could be wronged.
    Maybe all this Tribune is the stuff of legend.Like how Chicago isn't really The
    Windy City at all.But the city of speakeasy and guys who drive Dusenbergs and race
    around town with their Tommyguns with hot and cold running blondes hanging on
    using the floorboards like Bonnie Parker.That being until Ma Barker and her boys
    took delight in this tribunal thing-a-ma-jig.
    I mean,like what's in a tribunal after all. The funnies.
    What's In a Times.? More funnies.

    Heya Foolardi. [​IMG] Theres not much in The Times, although they would say there is. They really don't have much on comics either. Still, they seem to have grown in publication and are doing better than the NY Times. Whereas most know that NY Left leaning paper and those they have working for them. Have a political agenda rather than do what they were created to do.

    Yep the Tribune.....Chicago Tribune Newspaper. Thats who I have worked with over a decade. Now I was given an offer that was much better than I had. So, I have been transitioning over. Today I had to learn their computer system as it is completely different than what the Trib had. Have to go back tomorrow morning from 10am til noon. That's after I get done working all night with the Trib.

    As for Chicago.....Just the way it is!

    How to Drink for dummies.Imagine paying for dat stuff.
    I mean,like how much would it cost for a nice lemon and cheap vodka
    plus maybe some bottled water.I guess one could run down to the nearest
    Horse tack room and steal a few sugar cubes,if not sweet enough.

    If I have to go to Wal Mart I generally make note of everything I need over a period of weeks and then go there at like 11-12 at night when almost no one is there...

    I hate crowded stores... I like it when it's me and a few other shoppers (and usually they're dudes too) so it's funny when you see another dude shopping at 11 you know whats up - bro nod lol..

    Yeah its usually like that early in the morning like 5-6Am. Nothing but a few guys running around the store. We like to mess with the girls on how to use the self serve check out lines. In which many are alright with showing us how to use our cards and their scanners. [​IMG]
