This is the worst case of torture i have ever heard of, but, if he is guilty, this is not unwarranted! of course, with a actress like that pulling for him, there must be something in it for her - or we have a character witness on our hands? this is interesting, why would a wealthy famous actress get behind a suspected drug lord? This is where it gets interesting! i don't think the drug lord is from the top, or they would have had him killed, yes? they might come to rescue him? they might try to raid the jail? they might try to smuggle him drugs - this would signify importance and loyalty, something that a person like this would need, of course, yes? i doubt that he was from the top, but neither is he involved at all, because then he would be dead! think about it, some guy goes to jail, a 'known felon' that has identities and stuff on all the workings of the 'gang?' they would knock him off! If they want to prove him guilty, they need to prove he was not forced into the life he was in. this institutes 'slavery' and 'brain washing,' yes? have you heard of those kids fighting over blood diamonds? they have no choice either - do that or not get paid, no money for family, no hope. So, if we were to observe that this guy obviously, as he is still alive, got no connections to the gangs he was maybe friends with, then we could see that there is nothing he has to give off of. obviously, if he knew something, and he was the boss, he would call for role reversal and throw them in jail by turning informer and getting out to his loyal gang that he is in charge of the finances of, yes? this would bring them money and buying power, and then they could return to their lives. On the other hand, if he is the boss of a gang, they might want to knock him off before they see him turn informer. this would see the money, instead of going to the state, be given to the family under lawful practices, and then they could extort the money from the family, of course.
