    Brzezinski is one of those immigrants who comes to America and brings all his old world baggage with him. He is not a true American because he still has one foot in Eurasia and is obsessed with meddling in their affairs and dragging disinterested Americans along with him, whether they like it or not.

    We have enough problems in America without having to worry about all the problems in distant lands. It's time we stop trying to police the world and start fixing our own crumbling infrastructure and welfare programs. We cannot afford the kind of shambolic, hegemonic meddling that Brzesinksi is calling for. It's bankrupting our country and it's earning us the undying hatred of millions of people across the globe.

    I first heard of Brzesinski under the Carter Administration. As I understand, he is from that era or even further back, one of the old "hand's' who was literally steeped in the areas he was expert in. That is both his advantage and his problem IMO. He is an unquestioned expert in the subjects and areas he knows, but one has to wonder how much he looks to his very extensive knowledge of the past rather than an acumen in the fast changing world of today.

    In any case, I have to agree with Ethereal, we simply cannot afford the solutions that we could in Carter's day. We don't have as much treasure any more and many very serious problems at home that we didn't then.

    All the money this country has wasted on foreign meddling could have been used to make America better. Just think of how much less debt and taxes we'd have today if we had kept that money in America for our infrastructure and our budgets. We could have paved every road ten times over, updated every hospital in the country, sent every poor child to a private school, and had enough left over for a giant middle class tax break.

    not many soviet Jews marched into Auschwitz, i am almost sure more soviet solders died/were killed in the German concentration camps then the soviet Jews

    Maybe, but we must take care of the problems we have in our own country or we won't be able to help anyone overseas at all. Our infrastructure is falling apart, if we don't fix it soon it will reach a tipping point and we will never be able to catch up at all. It's like a house, you can only defer maintenance so far and eventually the deterioration is so bad that you have to tear it down and start over. The problem there is that you can rarely afford to build as good a house as you had before.

    The answer may surprise you but they (all Soviets, not just Jews) had absolutely no idea what Hitler was up to. There was no internet then you know and Stalin propaganda machine was silent on this matter.

    when the Nazi's and the USSR made their pact, I really doubt the Jews in the Soviet military knew anything about what was going on in Germany.

    National Security Adviser Brzesinski and President Carter started the plan to bankrupt Russia in Afghanistan when they (the USA) secretly funded the Mujahadeen. So he probably has a rather large interest in seeing Russia remain a lesser player on the world stage.

    Zbiggy is a Pole, and his world view revolves around Poland with its desire for its former empire...sort of like Turkey. They hate Russia for having thwarted their ambitions. Foreigners with their hang ups, shouldn't be in positions of forming our foreign policy. This is why we have made such a mess of the world... and hated everywhere.

    I mean come on, twenty thousand men were being killed each day in WWI, and in WWII Europe self destructed...and these are the people that are going to advise us? :wall:

    I wonder if Zbiggy looks under his bed at night, to make sure there are no Russians hiding there?    :confuse:
