Now USA is no 1, Russia is No 2,

will China and japan be stronger than Russian army?

That is, two yellow nations will be more stronger than any European countries.

if they will, USA must make china and japan disappear from the world.

No.

Neither nation can or is planning to design their military around the projection of power outside of thei region. China for instance has something like a 2 million man army and the capability to increase that to 2 hundred million if they need to but they have no ability to transport them very far.

Russia however can easily project power just as the US and other western nations can.

So they have defense forces, while we have offense force.

That is a rather simple way to put it but basically yes. Offensive armies are always stronger than defensive ones.

hkisdog; et al,

This question (Will China and japan be stronger than Russian army?) is a bit ambiguous.

First, I assume you are comparing "Armed Forces" as opposed to the "single service." With the disillusionment of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation has made a number of changes to the organization of their Ground Force Component which, has organic air assets, not normally associated with the ground forces of other militaries in the world, to include the US and China.

Japan Ground Self-Defense Force is totally defensive in nature. The JGSDF has virtually no offensive or strike capability. What JGSDF calls an "Army" is a Corps Size element by US standards. The Northern Corps has 2 Division (one Infantry and one Armor) and about 7 separate operating brigades (3 Infantry, 1 Artillery, 1 ADA, 1 Aviation, and 1 Support). This is the largest of the four Corps in total. But the other Corps are organized similarly. The each have 2 Infantry Divisions and differ in the task organization of the separate operating brigades. And, the JGSDF has a fully supported Airborne Brigade subordinate to the Central Army HQ. Pound for pound, it is a very strong defense force, equal to that of either China or the Russian Federation, but not offensive in nature. The logistics and communications abilities are not designed to go much beyond their home territory in reach; but can carry anything and communications bandwidth capacities are second to none.

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) is huge ( < 1.5 million personnel) in comparison to the JGSDF ( > 200K personnel) and the RFGF ( ≈ 350K to 400K personnel). Similar to that of the JGSDF, the PLA is large and very strong but extremely difficult to deploy much beyond the territories of the immediately adjacent countries. The PLA does have a Special Forces and a small Expeditionary Force capability that has a world-wide reach, but vulnerable logistics tail to interdiction.

The Russian Federations Ground Forces (RFGF), is strong in both the defensive role to protect and defend sovereign territory, and a solid logistics line to intermediate distances world-wide. It has 4 fully outfitted corps size commands, with an additional reinforce corps in Siberia. The Russian Federation (similar to the US) deploys on the basis of the Combat Brigade. The Siberian Military District (Corps + Size) has at least 10 Mechanized Infantry Brigades, an Airborne Brigade, a Spetsnaz Brigade, 2 Artillery Brigades, 1 Missile Brigade + 1 MRLS Brigade, and several assorted Engineer and Support Brigades.

(COMMENT)

I noticed you say that the US is #1, and the Russian Federation is #2. That is very subjective. The US may have the equivalent of 38 to 40 Brigade Combat Teams (10 Divisions + Separate Brigades), and an active duty strength of nearly 600K soldiers, the combat readiness factors, the logistics capacity, and the ability to mobilized the reserve support units all play a part. Additionally, while the US may have some initial advantages, you have to remember that the US is almost totally dependent on the remainder of the intelligence community for its ground truth. Of all the major powers in the world, the US Army has the very worst HUMINT and CI programs of any nation.

Many of us, as a matter of pride, want to insist "We're #1." It is a very patriotic stance, but not very accurate. In the deployment of any combat force, there is a set of concerns that need to be considered. One of these sets is: How Much Can You Afford? And that becomes a very complex issue because it includes:

• Magnitude of Combat Losses are you willing to sacrifice. (Blood and Equipment)
• How much are you willing to leave behind?
• What kind of technological advantages and weaknesses are you willing to divulge?

While you may think it is trivial, every country in the world now knows how dependent the US Army is on the Internet and it impact on the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR Net); and how crippled the commend is if they loose that element. In my time in Iraq and Afghanistan, I never saw so many people go into panic as when they couldn't access SIPR. They would rather be catching rockets from Sadr City than loose the SIPR. And now, everyone knows how critical it is and how easy it can be interdicted, and has the KSA's to exploit it, has an immediate advantage over the US. The Russian Federation has a quite similar vulnerability, but not the same level of dependency. Clearly, the Chinese have the advantage here.

AND: ---

It should also be noted that, for a number of different reasons, the Russian Federations returned many Spetsnaz units to the GRU. This is remarkably different from the task organization of Army Intelligence at either the strategic level or the tactical level. While it was discussed in the IC21 Study and the CI for the 21st Century Study, the commanders of the combat arms make all the decisions and seldom reinvest in the Intelligence Program (especially HUMINT and CI). This also has an impact on the strength and capability comparison between these forces you have asked about.

The Chinese has a serious advantage in regional HUMINT and CI within their immediate sphere of influence. This gives their forces a combat multiplier that the other nations don't have within those regions where China has influence. That advantage will allow the Chinese to introduce small unit Special Operations tactics well before the other forces have acclimatized to the situation on the ground.

I could write a whole book on the subject, but I think this gives you some idea, that the question is not straight forward.

Most Respectfully,
R

Personally, I'd rather not participate or support your desired genocide of some billion plus people on the planet.

Also, it's not very apparent why it matters to me at all whether China or Russia are number two. Additionally, what does Japan have to do with anything? You are vaguely aware that Japan and China have a contentious relationship that stems from centuries of disliking one another?
