The U.S. military has a new top commander for the fight against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, and the region is about to get a new special operations commander. Defense Secretary Ashton Carter last month quietly put Army Lt. Gen. Sean MacFarland in charge of the coalition fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Carter announced the appointment Friday, following a spate of criticism that the Obama administrations counter-ISIS campaign lacked coordinated leadership as it stretched across agencies also including the White House, State Department, intelligence community. Rather than three generals responsible for different aspects of the campaign, as had been the case, I have empowered Lt. Gen. MacFarland as the single commander of counter-ISIL activities in both Iraq and Syria, Carter said. His efforts will be critical in the coming months as we continue to provide support for capable partners fighting on the front lines. Additionally, Army Maj. Gen. Darsie Rogers will replace Maj. Gen. Michael Nagata as commander of U.S. special operations forces in the Middle East, according to a military official. Nagata oversaw the failed Obama administration effort to train Syrian rebels to fight ISIS. The old Friday announcement tactic, hoping that nobody notices. I hope Valerie Jarrett made the right choice and got the right Obama "yes man" in the right position. Obama hasn't had such luck with Secretary of Defense appointments, Obama is on his fourth Secretary of Defense, the first three, Gates, Pannetta and Hagel didn't turn out to be the "yes men" that Obama and Jarrett demand. Is Lt. Gen. MacFarland a "yes man" ? Doing a quick search, so far only the Fort Hood Oath Keepers have labeled MacFarland as an Obama "yes man." That was back in July.

Rogers looks like one of those who was picked to fill one of the positions (fill the vacuum) of one of the 200 flag officers and generals who were warriors and were purged by the Obama administration for not being PC or not being yes man. After BO peep is done.....then the Military Brass and Officer Corp, will need to be purged of anyone he was close with and or selected by him. Promoted by him. You know the drill. Just like those at DOJ. Those in NSA. Anyone that Rice brought along too. State will need to be cleaned out with all connected to Hillary.
That would also include house cleaning at the Secret Service. Yep, Obama even purged the Secret Service because he thought it was too white and created a PC Secret Service of diversity who like to party and play around with prostitutes. And it was revealed that all of these new affirmative action Secret Service agents didn't even have a security clearance while assigned at the Obama White House.

Like the fast tracking of a over weight black female (*)(*)(*) officer who was fast tracked from a Admiral (lower half) to a four star Admiral in just six years after Obama became CnC and today is the Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Michelle Howard. Back when Chiefs (CPO's) with over twenty years of service were being forced to retire because they were a little over weight, sailors were asking if there was a double standard for minorities when a fat over weight black female officer was allowed to remain in the Navy ? Michelle Howard never been in combat, never served on a real warship but only on auxiliary supply ships and once on a a LSD and LHD which are nothing more than a taxi cab that floats to transport Marines. But she did serve as the Navy’s liaison to the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Military Services (DACOWITS) in the Bureau of Personnel. Michelle Howard is a big time advocate of social engineering of the U.S. Navy, a politically correct Navy. And Obama picked Michelle Howard to be second in command of the U.S. Navy !!! Question: There wasn't one Admiral in the entire U.S. Navy who was more qualified to be second in command of the Navy ? There had to be, the U.S. Navy has more Admirals than it has ships.
That's all the left is concerned about......being PC correct. Until one of their top picks is killed or shows why they should have never been given a spot.
