    Opera. It's not just for the artsy-fartsy types in life. It's real, it's an acoustical phenomenon and yes, sometimes it is quite LOUD.

    I would be more likely to encounter a bear but now I know to just sing instead of scream....my singing voice can peel paint off walls....:)

    Opera may indeed make your life longer, but what is the point of that if that added length of time includes opera? I know that the two operas I saw made it seem like time had slowed down and it certainly seemed like I was living in a sort of reverse dog years time inversion. Every year of opera is like seven years of real life.
