I would throw Obama in a prison cell at Forth Leavenworth for the mess he created in the Middle East, the South China Sea and in America.

The world and America was such a nicer place back in 2008. Even my wallet was thicker.

    You gotta be kidding me.

The last quarter of 2008 was terrifying.

I never want to go through that again.

No it wasn't until Obama got involved then it became scary. Almost a trillion dollars for shovel ready jobs that weren't shovel ready. Cash for clunkers :roflol: Sodomizing the stock holders of GM while using my money paying off a political debt to the UAW.

If you were one of those who really didn't qualify to buy a home and got one of those sub prime loans that was responsible for the for the housing bubble bursting that led to the financial institutions crisis, well you should hold your head in shame. If liberal policies sound too good to be true, they always are and it's best to avoid them.

Now the recession of 1980 and 1981 was a real pain in the butt.

    Double digit inflation.
    Double digit interest rates.
    Double digit unemployment.
    Gasoline rationing.
Sitting in line for six hours to purchase five gallons of gas.

Sure thing, things were just peachy when Obama took office.

We can see the RW propaganda machine working to re-write history.

Here's a little walk down memory lane about how great things were when Obama got into office:

    January 2009

Job loss: Worst in 34 years
Employers slashed 598,000 more jobs in January [2009] as unemployment rate climbed to 7.6%.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Employers slashed another 598,000 jobs off of U.S. payrolls in January, taking the unemployment rate up to 7.6%, according to the latest government reading on the nation's battered labor market.

The latest job loss is the worst since December 1974, and brings job losses to 1.8 million in just the last three months, or half of the 3.6 million jobs that have been lost since the beginning of 2008.

    http://money.cnn.com/2009/02/06/news/economy/jobs_january/index.htm

Market players were also disappointed by reports that U.S. home prices fell 8.7% year-over-year in November, U.S. housing starts fell 15.5% in December, and weekly initial jobless claims rose 62,000 to 589,000.
    http://www.businessweek.com/investor/content/jan2009/pi20090122_192905.htm

On Wednesday, the 30-stock Dow Jones industrial average finished with a loss of 248.42 points, or 2.94%, to 8,200[/B].

598,000 Jobs Shed In Brutal January

Unemployment Hits 7.6% as Downturn Picks Up Steam

The need for progress on those fronts seemed more important than ever yesterday, as the Labor Department announced that conditions worsened more than expected last month. The nation's employers shed 598,000 jobs, the most since 1974, driving the unemployment rate to 7.6 percent from 7.2 percent. If the jobless rate keeps rising at the pace it has for the past two months, it will hit double digits in summer and reach its highest rate since the Great Depression by the fall.

GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT: FOURTH QUARTER 2008 (PRELIMINARY)
Real gross domestic product -- the output of goods and services produced by labor and property located in the United States -- decreased at an annual rate of 6.2 [later revised to 9.2] percent in the fourth quarter of 2008[/B], (that is, from the third quarter to the fourth quarter), according to preliminary estimates released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Continued Unemployment Claims at Record High
In the week ending Jan. 24, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 588,000, an increase of 3,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 585,000.

When Obama took office the economy was tanking at a -9% real rate, losing 700,000+ jobs a month, unemployment was 7.8% skyrocketing upward, and the stock markets and housing markets were crashing in the worst recession in 80 years. The deficit was running at $1.2 trillion, soon projected to hit $1.9 trillion, the housing market was destroyed, and the economy was headed straight for a depression.

But now the the private sector has added more jobs every month for a record 64 months in a row, stock markets are up about 175% from their recession lows to record highs, corporate profits have hit all time highs, we've gained back all the jobs lost in the recession and millions more, the housing market is recovered, the deficit has been cut by more two thirds, the unemployment rate has fallen from 10% to 5.0%, and over 13 million additional private sector jobs have been added since Jan 2010.

Only those invested in failure for political purposes could say that things were better when Obama took office.

The recession ended in June of 2009. There has been no full recovery of the economy after six years, Obama's economy is moving at a snails pace. Why ??? Because Obama keeps interfering with the economy with new regulations and the "Feds" keep propping up Obama's economy including Wall Street. The only people better off today under Obama are the 1% and Wall Street.

Of the 11 post WW ll recessions all except for the so called "Great Recession" there was a full recovery with in 6 months to 18 months as the longest. Over six years later under Obama's policies still no full recovery of the economy. Most people have gotten use of the status quo. It's known as short time memory loss.

The vast majority of jobs created under the Obama administration went to immigrants and illegal aliens not American born citizens. And most of the jobs that were created were either part time jobs or low paying, low skilled jobs.

It's a hell of a lot better than it was when the last Republican left office.

If you want more growth tell your boys in Congress to stop with the austerity and obstruction.

Or better yet, vote them out.

Sorry, Austerity was definitely not Obama's policy.

You should look at what I posted and I underlined it knowing you would go to a liberal bias fact check. I said vast majority of the new jobs went to immigrants and illegal aliens not all.

Then you should actually read what your source said.

The fact check meter actually should have read "Mostly True" since the numbers were only off by 30%. :roflol: But Politic Fact is connected to Annenberg and Annenberg is connected to George Soros.

    My quote was more accurate.

Obama wasn't in power in 2000.

CIS has a good track record of separating the facts from the lies and bull (*)(*)(*)(*).

And there's enough Obama bull (*)(*)(*)(*) to make Bandini Mountain to look like a moe hill. -> http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bandini+Mountain

This analysis is based on the "household survey" collected by the Census Bureau for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The survey, officially known as the Current Population Survey (CPS), is the nation's primary source of information on the U.S. labor market.5 The CPS survey does not include those in institutions such as prisons. We concentrate in this analysis on the first quarter of each year 2000 to 2014 because comparing the same quarter over time controls for seasonality and the first quarter of 2014 is the most recent quarterly data available.

Bwhahahahaha!! Keep going! Really, I couldn't do this without you! :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:

    Your plagiarism is noted.

These aren't your words but the CIS published words.

Either use the quote function or insert the >" "< between the quote.

    Thank you, that is all.
