Several months ago I saw gas hit $1.99 and I remember telling my mom "I thought I would never see gas hit 1 again in my life", Now by me it's $1.67.....

I haven't seen gas prices like this since 1998...

It was $1.53 when I filled up last week. Not sure where it is right now though since I usually get 2 weeks per fill up.

Edit: My sister did tell me it was $1.49 this weekend out by her work.

Liters are for soda pop, not gasoline. Infidel!

There is a funny story in my family about my aunt and her encounter with your LE when she didn't realize that your speed limits were in kilometers and not mile per hour.

hehe probably a lot easier to explain doing 50-60 in an 80-90 zone, then for us Canucks to explain why we are doing 120 miles per hour on a highway lol

My cousin said the only reason she wasn't arrested was because she had a caddie full of kids with her who went out thinking they were going to see a moose but ended up convinced they were about to see Saint Peter.

Now you see the problem with living in California? lol - it's a buck less here and I'm (ironically) just outside of Chicago.

You know what tho? Cheaper oil means cheaper transportation of goods which leads to cheaper products which leads to more demand hence more jobs...

$1.71 is the lowest I've seen it around where I live, tho' if you use a discount card you can save up to 90 cents on the gallon depending on how many points you've saved.

Sheetz is the cheapest place around here on average except a couple 1 location outfits but they are a regional chain of gas stations. They sometimes are over/under Sam's club a nickel, but I don't think a Sam's membership is worth the money. I had one for free for a year and almost never used it. I don't need gallon jars of mustard and 144 packs of top ramen at a time.

LOL Sams Club sells gas too?

We have both Costco and Sams but they just sell food in bulk - not gas...

    Werid...

Perhaps Walgreens should get into the oil business?

Ours does. It is kind of weird. I think you used to have to register your credit card with your membership and only use that credit card to buy the gas, but I think now they just let you use your membership card and any card that has your name on it. Like I could not use your credit card and my membership card together. I have never personally bought gas from them when I was a member though. I know very few people who are members who do buy their gas there. Most people prefer to just pop into the closest station, not drive into the middle of traffic madness just to save a quarter or two per fill up.
