Canada and the USA are two big countries adjacent to each other. There are many similarities between Canada and the USA. Both countries have the same colonial history. Both countries have the same culture and language. Both countries have the same lifestyle. Both countries are nations composed of descendants of immigrants. Both countries have the same political system and economic system. Both countries have the same developed and industrialized economy. Both countries are closely linked with each other in economy. Since there are so many similarities between Canada and the USA, the two countries are adjacent in geography and are so integrated in economy, is it possible for Canada and the USA to be unified into one country? After unification, this new country will be the largest country in the world. A book has been published to explore the peaceful unification between Canada and the USA. This book explores unification between Canada and the USA, unification between Mexico and its two small southern neighbors, unification between Chile and Argentina, unification between France and the two tiny states along its southern border, unification between South Africa and Lesotho, and unification between a few pairs of other countries. Find this book on Barnes and Noble, Amazon, publishamerica.com and other websites. Or simply search GOOGLE to find it. Book title is REDRAWING WORLD MAP. Book subtitle is EXPLORATION OF UNIFICATION BETWEEN COUNTRIES.
That would be a GREAT idea since the Canadian "conservative" party is waaaaaaay to the left of the Democrats. This means the Dem party would have a large majority over the Republicans and we would save the USA-Canadian alliance from the mess created by the far right.
I sure do hope so. there are similiarities between America and Canada, but there are also some fundamental differences. We do not have the same language and culture. Our English is the queen's english and French is also an official language. Our culture is quite different in attitude if not in principle. We support gay marriage, marijuana legalization, abortion, acceptance of refugees, multiculturalism, gun control, universal healthcare, strong social safety nets, diplomacy over war, and our beer is way better, not to mention our hockey players and comedians. We sure as hell don't have the same political system. Of course, we remain totally committed to our nefarious and top secret plan of a "reverse takeover" of America. So these books are a necessary tactical element for success. Fortunately the only American that appears to have found out this plan is Moi621.
I don't see any real good reason for unification. In fact, there are several states in our country that I'd be happy to jettison right now. It's just a pity they aren't contiguous.
