Bill Clinton ended welfare in the 90's which disproportionately helped Blacks, why would they give the nomination to Hilary who works for the rich?

The Clintons are bought out by the rich, they always have a super PAC, they will sell out the working class and poor in a heart beat.

Blacks are in both working class and poor at disproportionate numbers, it would be against their economic interests to vote for another Clinton.

Sanders is the only one that works for the poor, working, and middle class, as he is the only candidate Democrat or Republican, that does not accept political donations from the rich to decide laws in their favor.

they shouldn't. Nothing good can come from a Hillary presidency.

you guys should adopt Christi and Kasich. Run those guys. Is Dukakis still alive?

You may recall that it was widely reported that actually Hillary and Donna Shalala opposed several of the provisions in the final bill ( 'workfare') behind the scenes, but they lost the battles in compromises to get the bill passed. You can't blame her for this one, and I don't think most blacks will.

I'm waiting for when they've said free so many times, that all they have left to do is double free everything... "I'll send you to college twice for free"

Any Democrat is better than any of the Republican candidates in the running.

I support Sanders, but I am disturbed when people use Bill Clinton to attack Hillary. Was Hillary's politics brought up during Bill's election? Was Nancy's brought up during Ron's or Michele's during Barack's? Isn't Hillary her own person?

Don't forget it is also Clinton's crime bill that is putting a disproportionate number of blacks in prison also. Sounds like the Clintons owe some reparations.

Here is how Clinton handled illegal alien children:

Because some people support the right decision, even if it isn't one that favors them. They're called adults.

And blacks are not a collective. Not everyone who is black was helped by welfare and each person (even if they wear black skin) can cast an independent vote.

Yes. No, no and hell no. You don't remember Bill saying vote for me and you get 2 for the price of 1 or some such nonsense. Travelgate? Whitewater? Rose Law Firm? Clinton fund raising scandals, Chinese bundlers. Nothing? She's the whore of Wall Street owned by big banking so how can she be her own person?

I actually like the reduction in welfare only because it forces people to be sovereign and independent from the government. One of my biggest problems with Clinton was that in addition to reducing welfare, he also signed the NAFTA agreement thus undermining people’s livelihood. If I could, I would compel as many people as possible to vote against his wife because I don't see her as any better.

none of them had a spouse as president, Bill Clinton is fair game and they are the same person politically?

Bill Clinton and Hillary both use super pacs and pander to wall street, and the rich, to expect she would be different than Bill politically is a mistake.

any economic conservative would love Hillary, Bill Clinton signed NAFTA that hurt the black community, took all their jobs and sent them to Asia for cheap slave labor and more profits..

at the same time taking their jobs with NAFTA, he took away welfare so they can't even get a handout from being oppressed by the rich.

its sick if they give Hilary the vote, it would be against not only black interests but everyone in the working class and poor.

welfare is meant to be a stepping stone, not some type of bondage of government. it appears as a place of dependency because it was reduced to be ineffective to save taxes on the rich.

but yea taking jobs away by allowing the rich to exploit third world countries with cheap labor for more profits, at the cost of living wage jobs in America was bad, and taking away their welfare was a slap in the face when they have no jobs.

I'm in the "middle class" and I work, as does my wife. How will Sanders benefit an average working guy like me?

    • no private health plans, medicare for all.
    • the raise in taxes will be lower than the cost of a private health care plan since everyone is pooling in, and the rich even more so.
    • mandatory paid leave for those who don't have paid vacations.
    • glass steagall act, more regulations on wall street so private 401k retirements aren't threatened by casino banking.
    • higher payments from social security for those without private retirement plans.
    • protectionist laws where high skilled labor or middle class jobs aren't outsourced to foreigners who will work for less to make employers richer.
    • more competition in the free market, breaking up big banks and big businesses so more high skilled living wage jobs can be created from the increased competition.

Bill Clinton stripped welfare to bare bones, made it temporary and only to women with kids. It used to be permanent and go to everyone, it was eliminated.

No, welfare was not ended, it was changed. Additionally, last I heard, Hillary was the first woman of the US and Bill was the president. Granted, Hillary wanted to enhance health care in the US, but I doubt she had very little input into welfare reform.

Most blacks aren't on welfare, anyway. Sanders seems like a good guy, though. He needs to get Elizabeth Warren as his VP candidate.
