If tax revenues which will be used for HS1, 2 and 3; whatever grandiose idea the posh boys have dreamed up for the Northern Powerhouse project (all of which will end up years over schedule and way over budget); getting involved in America's misbegotten and failed wars; paying membership subscriptions to the EU and meekly paying fines imposed on the UK by the EU when other member states who are fined tell them to (*)(*)(*)(*) off; the latest parliamentary pay rise and expenses for MPs in their latest outbreak of 'snouts in troughs' (one that is greater than the cap on public sector wage); upcoming cuts in the budget tomorrow of benefits for the most vulnerable persons in our society; financing the upgrading of a nuclear defence system which will never be used; why, there would probably be enough to pay off our national debut and build a few prisons, mental health facilities and hospitals, and care homes for the elderly and infirm, with maybe a bit left over to increase living allowances for the disabled too.

'We're all in this together.' Yeah, right!

Haha, that's the way the government works. Take on added costs now, desperately needed cuts later. The left doesn't raise a peep when it comes to spending money with reckless abandon, but as soon as the government has to make cuts to pay for it, all hell breaks loose.

Just look what happened in Greece. They had to keep borrowing money up to their eyeballs and now they still don't want to pay for it. This is all just in their nature it appears.
Thatcher wasn't too far off when she observed: "The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money." And I'm not even saying this to demonize wealth distribution, just the pure stupidity of the attitude that seems so widespread amongst these people.

btw, bet Parliament would have a lot of extra money on hand if it hadn't been for the last score of years taking on migrants! They don't even have a grip on how much this has cost the nation, in so many countless ways.

You complain about inequality, but you're doing it to yourself !
Just import hoards of poverty into your country and demand more out of the rich when things don't go your way. Not that Liberal Conservatives are any better, mind you.

The insanity (and inanity too, as it happens! I mean, look at the two guffawing clowns in the pic below) continues?
