Because Lebanon matters. The Islamic State and Hezbollah Fight For Lebanon
Hezbollah is no longer good for Lebanon.... at least the militant side of Hezbollah is not good for Lebanon.
I never watch videos if that is all somebody can use to back up their claims. Anybody can make a video, that does not mean it is real or true. There are videos documenting how the Apollo missions were faked, how water powered cars are being suppressed by corporate-government conspiracies, and that the world is controlled by ZOG. I have no more interest in watching these videos then I do in watching nun porn.
i have seen it, old Ottoman/French contraction will never work in 2016 ...Margot what can possible unite 3 sects in Lebanon ?
Actually, for over a decade it was very stable. The problem came when a group of Muslim extremists took over and forced the governmnet to support the Arab Coalition in the Arab-Israeli Wars. There followed a period of instability, then a return to stability. Which ended when the PLO started another civil war in the 1980's, and the factionalism lasted for over a decade. Staibility lasted for another 15 years or so, when once again factionalism returned (following the assassination of the former PM), and they have had problems with stability ever since. When left on it's own, Lebanon has actually been fairly stable. It is the fact that outsiders (Arab Coalition, PLO, Syria, etc) have often used it as a breeding ground for extremists. After all, Beirut was not known as the "Paris of the East" for nothing. For much of it's modern History, it was a nation of interaction between all of the major religions (Sunni, Shi'ite, Christians, Druze and Jews) until outside influences caused the factionalism to appear. And I am one that believes that if the extreemists would leave them alone such unity would return. Lebanon sadly is a perfect example of how outsiders bringing in their own agendas can cause a nation to fall apart.
you entire post is simplification, Lebaneses have always been more loyal to own clan-sect that to the state. Shias have been on the bottom , Christians on the top . and no one is ready to share.no man , Lebanon has never been a real nation and state
