Packers have signed Ex Ram Tight End Jared Cook to a 1 year contract.

Cook reminds many packer fans of Jermichael Finley. Cook should help Rodgers spread the field and with Jordy Nelson coming back from injury, the Packers offense should be back to their old self.

Good luck with the drops and so-so blocking out of Cook.

Besides, why are you a Packers fan when SoCal just got the Rams back?

I grew up in the midwest and my dad was a big Packer fan..

As far as Cook. I'm hoping that teaming up with Rodgers will bring out the best in him..

I'm a fan without a team in the moment as my Rams jumped ship. I suppose the Pack are as good as anybody else to root for now. Rodgers seems like a good dude, so best of luck to your Pack. I wasn't that impressed with Cook under Fisher's regime but then again he was a good player stuck in a bad system while with the Rams.

My philosophy remains, anybody but the Patriots.

The Packers are a great team to root for. Tons of tradition and a contender every year! :) Rodgers is one of the best and he makes others better. I think that will happen with Cook. I feel bad for you about the Rams. They sort of left town without consideration of their fan base. Similar to the Ravens when they left Cleveland.

I'm with you when it comes to the Patriots..

Yeah, well Kroenke (the owner) increased the value of the team by 1/2 a billion dollars just by moving to LA. Ultimately the NFL is a business I suppose. One thing is for sure I'm done with the Rams,
    so Go Packers!

Yeah.. the NFL IS a business and in that respect you cannot fault the owner for wanting to increase his investments value.

That's one reason I like the Pack. There's no owner, only share holders and that franchise will NEVER move. The fans come first! :) Woo Hoo! Go Pack Go!

Cook ain't great, but he was in the wrong offense with the Rams. He'll be better with the Pack. But I think ol' Aaron himself has picked up some bad throwing habits.

Rodgers didn't look himself last season that's for sure but he still put up above average numbers.. :)

Losing his top receiver Nelson hurt his rhythm, he also had an undisclosed minor shoulder injury which I think affected his throwing motion and accuracy. Plus, the Pack was more or less one dimensional with a so so receiving corps and an over weight Eddie lacy. Cook will make that group better because our TE Rodgers is slow as molasses and with nelson back and a rededicated lacy, we should be back in the top 10 on offense. Green bay finished 25th in offense last season.

Done with the rams? Bye, and good riddance. As for the packers and Aaron Rodgers. Seems the rams put the fear of god in Aaron and he hasn't been the same since. They exposed him for the sissy that he is. GO RAMS.....

Jared Cook. Can't catch and won't block. Good luck.

If Rodgers is a sissy then what does that make Foles and Keenum?

    .

The Rams had the most losses in the NFL going back 20 years. Somehow I don't think that's going to change in LA just because a mediocre organization will be playing in a fancy stadium. For starters there's the QB situation, it's non-existent!

Hate foles, keenum has a chance. With our defense we don't need a Payton manning we need a Trent dilfer. The pack is full of holes.

Bandwagon chaser I guess. Like I said bye bye.

The Pack isn't full of holes. Our defense was 10th and special teams were very good. Just need to fine tune the offense. we'll be a Super Bowl contender this season. Rams? No way a contender this season.

Perhaps I need to explain the chain of events.

I'm in St. Louis, MO, the owner of the St. Louis Rams, Stan Kroenke dissed the City of St. Louis, calling it a shrinking market and unworthy of an NFL franchise. Why would anyone from St. Louis continue to support a franchise that basically kicked them in the teeth on the way out the door. More than likely St. Louis will never see another NFL franchise again, thanks to Stan.

If you're actually from St. Louis, only a fool would remain a fan.
I'm no fool, perhaps you are.

Good luck to your LA Lambs, you'll need it. Kroenke is a sub-par owner who does not care about putting a decent product on the field.

Favre says he's coming out of retirement to take over the Rams starting QB position. He said in his press conference that an old man like him could easily beat out Foles and Keenum.. LOL

That's true, the shoulder injury could have had something to do with it. I thought he was getting into a habit of throwing off his back foot and not stepping hard into his passes. Also, too many reads. Partly his receivers, but partly Rodgers. He'll live longer if he gets rid of the ball and throws a few more meaningful incompletions.

St. Louis is a city of fewer than 320,000 people, with a shrinking tax base, and we couldn’t afford to help finance the $1 billion stadium that the Rams’ billionaire owner, Kroenke wanted.

We're not going to bankrupt ourselves, as taxpayers, merely to say we have an NFL team.

What we do have is the 2nd most winningest team in Major League Baseball in the St. Louis Cardinals and a consistently solid NHL team in the St. Louis Blues, that despite only winning one playoff series in 12 years still has a supporting fan base.

The Rams were supported in St. Louis for 20 years, once the rumor started that Kroenke wanted a new stadium, we all knew the team moving was inevitable. Still, many fans, myself included supported the team here. We knew the area couldn't afford a new stadium.

As I've said, Kroenke is just not a good owner, he's a good businessman. The Rams abandoned St. Louis because we can't keep up with bigger regions and build these lavish stadiums. The NFL itself is by far the greediest professional sports organization among the top tier sports. By far. It makes sense to support the Packers, an organization owned by the fans, not billionnaires chasing a profit; after getting dissed by an organization that basically told St. Louis, we're too poor to host an NFL franchise. The NFL doesn't profit enough to have a team here...it is they who abandoned us, not the other way around. There are lots of NFL fans in this area, we enjoyed having a team, we couldn't afford a Billion dollar stadium is the issue.

It's not a question of jumping on a successful bandwagon, if that was the case I'd be a Patriots fan now, and I despise that organization but they are successful. Green Bay is the opposite of what Kroenke brings to the NFL, that alone is reason enough to support them whether they win or lose.

Rodgers was throwing off his back foot and he wasn't able to get out of the pocket much and extend plays. The O'line was terrible last season. Rodgers was sacked 45+ times. Part of the reason were injuries. All 5 O'linemen were on the injury report for 6 weeks straight. I would like to see Bulaga (right tackle) move on. I hope Ted Thompson drafts his replacement. I'm also not sold on our left tackle Bahktiari. He's average at best.

Not to get unduly political about it but that's why so many political lefties like the Pack - the team is owned by the people just like so many European soccer teams. Its winning record proves to them that socialism works. ;)

Because there aren't enough Americans in L.A. to support the Lambs.

The owners of the L.A. Lambs will soon realize the same thing about L.A. that the L.A. Lambs discovered back in the early 1980's and moved behind the Orange Curtain unaware that the Orange Curtain was about to move to the I-405 (San Diego Freeway.)

The Lambs will also have a brand new stadium built for them in Inglewood, a city where the only choice you have is press # 1 for Spanish and press # 2 for ebonics.
Why do you think the L.A. Lakers hauled ass from the Inglewood Forum ?
