I've often said that Boris Johnson is a buffoon, but his 'Leave' speech on tv yesterday was little short of statesmanlike. I'd even go so far as to say he'd make a very good prime minister. How any waverers could watch it and still say they 'don't understand the salient points' must either be thick as the proverbial plank or agenda-driven for the opposing standpoint.
