Just came into the house to say that I want to be immortalized by Palven's Law- "Yard work time can be doubled with the assistance of a puppy."
My dogs like to roll on smelly things. They are followers of Rene Descartes' poodle, Pierre, who said "I stink because I am."
I had a Dog like that, it would roll around on dead rats or who knows what, and come back smelling like dead things long in the grave.
Our companions are so special. We had an earthquake last Saturday, and everyone was shaken out of bed to find our 11 year old Golden had died in his sleep during the early morning hours. Has left a big hole in our family, but just hours before his tail was wagging and he was enjoying his moments on earth so I'm grateful he didn't feel the pain of long-term sickness.
Awww. I'm so sorry about your pup. That is the worst part about having pets, they leave us eventually.
I got a kick out of this cat.
My sincere condolences on your loss. - - - Updated - - - I think We lose them early to prepare us for our other losses.
Lol! I didn't really notice it until it showed it in slow motion. That is pretty cool. - - - Updated - - - I don't think anything can prepare us for such things.
