All those people we've held in Guantanamo chose captivity over their glorious martyrdom.

They rape and behead defenseless civilians.

They shoot defenseless people at a concert, or a holiday gathering.

    Etc, etc, etc ....

    They are what they are.

I'd tell you that I'm rooting for the homeboy rebels against Russia and NATO if I weren't such a coward.

Anger can make heroes out of cowards.

Josh Billings said that Money can buy you a good dog, but it won't buy the wag of it's tail.

There are probably guys making a few bucks to make ends meet in the Iraqi army who desert when it comes under fire, but if their wives and kids lined up a bakery got killed by a drone, which happens every day in the Mid-East, would be more than happy to strap on a bomb and detonate it in a group of NATO soldiers.

Aren't Mid-Easterners so friggin' lucky to have the Russians and the US fight their war there?

So what's your point? You asked a question in the OP. Are soldiers "cowards" or are suicide bombers cowards?

I personally think strapping a bomb to yourself with the intent to kill civilians is cowardly. I don't think precision bombing with the hope of not killing civilians is less cowardly.

However, you're hellbent on an agenda so let's hear it.

I buy Ron Paul's argument that NATO and Russia should take all their forces home and leave the Mid-East for Mid-Easterners to sort out.

Israel has the strongest military in the Mid-East including nuclear weapons. In addition they've been making deals with Saudi Arabia and Egypt, so the Israelis are well-equipped to take care of themselves, and the US would be sure to come to their aid if they actually ran into problems.

Yes that is a pretty good theory, I'll agree.
