    Well let the discussions begin and the question, when will this all stop. The officers did not violate the law, Freddie Grey caused his own demise. This out of control prosecutor needs to be fired and someone with some common sense put in her place.

    Freddie Gray Arresting Officer Edward Nero Found Not Guilty On All Charges

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Freddie Gray arresting officer Edward Nero has been found not guilty on all counts by Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams.

    Nero faced second-degree assault,reckless endangerment and two counts of misconduct in office.

    Nero waived his right to a trial by jury. His bench trial began May 12 and final arguments were heard Thursday....

    If they were illegal actions then not guilty would not be the verdict. The evidence is on our side of the argument, as a judge has issued the ruling after countless mountains of evidence was presented. The burden of proof lies on the state to prove.

    By not cooperating with the arrest and then standing up and banging on the dividing wall in that moving vehicle while his hands and legs were bound.

    The charges were not dimissed on a technicality they were dismissed for lack of evidence.

    So on what evidence do you claim he or anyone else was/is guilty of anything, and conjecture and supposition is not evidence.

    That sucks. Maybe he can get a job at a more reasonable police department.

    Is there a police union there?


    Does ordinary insurance cover losses from riots? I thought it didn't.

    Best bet is for the business owner to be on-scene and shoot any rioters who attack their business, but without being caught by the authorities so they don't face any politically-motivated prosecution.

    Perhaps they should have someone video the confrontations too, just in cause they do get caught by the authorities, so they can present the courts with solid evidence that it was all self defense.

    That's how our contracts read as well... They should be able to sit in sight of their business and pop anyone who busts a window or throws a cocktail. At least hit them with salt blast from a shotgun.

    It seems like the left will find a new case to be outraged over instead of taking any of the other options. In a perverse way, they may even like losing, perhaps it vindicates their belief that the justice system is against them. This'll be a huge talking point for example if Hillary gets recommended for indictment.

    You can get a policy that does cover riots or pretty much anything else. Most insurance companies offer a "Named Peril" clause.
