What we have here is the claim a US Submarine "sank a Train" in Japan. Several things become clear. The train was blown up. The ship flag showed the train on the bottom of it's flag and the commanding officer got a Medal of Honor. I hope you use the link to partake of the photos. But part of the story begins this way.
