Final Behghazi Report Details Administration Failures

Everything alleged against the Obama administration, it turns out, has been true: It took five hours for Leon Panetta to even decide to order military assets into Benghazi to rescue our people after it was learned they were under attack and all the administration could manage was a single unarmed drone that flew in and around our compound. No military assets ever arrived, much less intervened.

Much time was spent arguing over whether troops sent in should be in uniform or not, though as said, none were ever sent (there were ordered in and out of uniform four separate times during the political wrangling that went on while our people were under fire).

Hillary Clinton's chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, took the unprecedented step of intervening in the process of investigating Benghazi
by the Accountability Review Board and she had great input in fashioning the board's report on the matter completely smashing
any sense of impartiality or fairness.

The State Department did indeed know they were located in Benghazi "a hotbed of terrorism" yet calls for Clinton to increase security
were ignored and in the aftermath they fashioned a politically expedient lie to cover up the fact that a well planned out attack on the compound was carried out with their foreknowledge and a lie about an anti Islamic video was the reason for the attack, when that was always known to be untrue.

More details are pouring out today but the main bullet points: no military response, a failure to secure Benghazi and a politicized cover up
are all out now for all to see though this has long been known. The democrats have tried to deny the facts with counter facts but none are available to them so there replies have always been a failure. This final report confirms that.

I thought this was interesting......The panel also found that former senior officials in the defunct Qadhafi regime helped evacuate Americans to safety, a surprising finding given that the U.S. was backing the rebels fighting against the regime. The GOP committee staffer noted that the rebel forces State had worked to befriend did not come to the Americans’ aid.

 

The following facts are among the many new revelations in Part I:

•Despite President Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s clear orders to deploy military assets, nothing was sent to Benghazi, and nothing was en route to Libya at the time the last two Americans were killed almost 8 hours after the attacks began. [pg. 141]

•With Ambassador Stevens missing, the White House convened a roughly two-hour meeting at 7:30 PM, which resulted in action items focused on a YouTube video, and others containing the phrases “f any deployment is made,” and “Libya must agree to any deployment,” and “[w]ill not deploy until order comes to go to either Tripoli or Benghazi.” [pg. 115]

•The Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff typically would have participated in the White House meeting, but did not attend because he went home to host a dinner party for foreign dignitaries. [pg. 107]

•A Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team (FAST) sat on a plane in Rota, Spain, for three hours, and changed in and out of their uniforms four times. [pg. 154]

•None of the relevant military forces met their required deployment timelines. [pg. 150]

•The Libyan forces that evacuated Americans from the CIA Annex to the Benghazi airport was not affiliated with any of the militias the CIA or State Department had developed a relationship with during the prior 18 months. Instead, it was comprised of former Qadhafi loyalists who the U.S. had helped remove from power during the Libyan revolution. [pg. 144]

So, basically, the Obama administration, and more specifically Hillary, sat on their hands and let Americans representing the US die.

 

NO American military intervention (repeat NONE) ever made it to Benghazi (none was even sent until five hours into the attack) and what help our people did receive came from Qadhafi affiliated forces, as you point out, and not our own military though help was available to send.
And, as you demonstrate, the people we deposed in a coup, came to our aid while the people we were backing in that illegal coup, did not.

Obama and Clinton lied and people died. And we slapped the pro Western forces in Libya down while propping up and assisting the anti Western forces
in a bit of Obama/Clinton geopolitical treachery.

And who did the left wing support in all this? Why the people that assisted terrorists and let our own young men die, of course.

 

If Fox News and Rightwing Radio hadn't been screaming BENGHAZI!!!!!! 24'7 for the past 3 years....

this "Final Report" might have had some impact. But now, it's "old news" and the public got tired of the "BENGHAZI!!!!!!!" antics from Darrell Issa and Trey Gowdy....and of course Rush and Sean and Doocy and Kilmeade and the rest months, if not years ago.

 

If the Obama regime hadn't stonewalled and politicized the investigation non stop for years then, of course, we wouldn't have had such a long public search for the facts behind the tragedy in Libya.
All those duplicitous talking points the whole Obama machine churned out for years are all revealed now as lies and deliberate cover for it's own failure.

But only a leftist would stand right in the way for so long and then complain about how long the process has been.

When did you read the final report.

 

We've known for a long time there was a failure in leadership before, during and after the attack. We've known Hillary and Obama destabilized the region, put Americans there without adequate security and left them to die. This report will change no ones minds. If one supported the administration's response before this report they will most certainly continue to after.

 

Finding the witch was the easy part, she was at the Lynch party. Finding a liberal that will denounce said witch for her corruption and the blood on her hands, however, is a completely different ballgame.

Can you explain then, for instance, why it took Leon Panetta five hours to decide to send military aid to our people under attack? And then why none ever showed up anyway (it was only forces allied with Qhadafi that ever gave any aid at all to our people under

FACT:Libya is a failed state, today.

FACT:There was a precarious situation in the city of Benghazi prior to the attacks that led to the death of four Americans.

FACT:There were attacks on western diplomatic missions prior to the 9/11 attacks that led to the death of four Americans.

FACT:While implying that a video was responsible for the attack on the consulate, Hillary Clinton corresponded privately that she knew it was a Al Quesada like attack.

FACT: While reports coming from Libya stated that the attack on annex, and consulate was a planned and coordinated, Susan Rice went on the Sunday talks shows, and stated that there was a spontaneous demonstration that got out of hand, because a YouTube video.
