Maybe this woman makes shrewd behind-the-scenes decisions that are somehow beneficial to the party, but in public Schultz just tends to make a fool of herself. The only thing Schultz will help accomplish is pandering and campaigning to people who're already going to vote for Hillary anyway. Most folks outside of that group seem to view Schultz the same way I described. I really don't see her as being someone to help bring in independents and those leery about voting for Trump. I just can't see any other reason for having her be part of the campaign. Hillary is a lot of things as we are reminded by the minute on this forum, but one of them for better or worse is that she's a keen politician. There must be better reasons for having her than are immediately obvious.

 

I'm sure Hillary will set her up with a great email account.

Speaking of that - it's almost like Bernie has "battered woman syndrome".

 

It serves a couple of purposes. It makes the landing softer so she is more willing to jump out of the plane. Allows her to be utilized as a consultant so they do not lose the knowledge base, and it ensures there is no lengthy empty time on a resume. Its unpaid and it helps get her out of the way.

Hillary is the type to use people who are intensely loyal to her ... people who will do anything for her ... people who are politically shrewd, cold-hearted, and with the killer instinct of a shark ... people who will protect her at all costs. This is DWS.

Bernie Sanders. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Florida congresswoman, said in a statement that she would leave her post at the DNC at the end of this week’s convention. She said she would still open and close the gathering and would address the delegates. ..

Given antipathy to her from hundreds of Sanders delegates who will be in the hall, it is likely that she will be booed each time she takes the stage.

Mr. Sanders has long accused Ms. Wasserman Schultz of favoring presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and had wanted her fired. But the Clinton campaign refused.

Then Friday, the WikiLeaks website released a database of more than 19,000 emails allegedly sent from DNC officials between early 2015 and mid-2016. The emails show DNC staffers discussing ways to undermine Mr. Sanders’s campaign.

In one email to colleagues, a top DNC official suggested ways to undermine Sanders: “Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps.”

Now rather than undercover for the Hillary campaign, she has joined the campaign. Good news is that she is a royal fu.
