There have been far too many serious crimes associated with people here in the United States illegally. The whole notion of "Sanctuary Cities" is incredibly destructive/offensive, and needs to be stopped. I was very disappointed in the Senate's recent vote against Kate's law, so much so that I wrote to my two Senators a few weeks back asking for an explanation as to the reasoning behind their casting a vote against it; so far, no word back. So which of the presidential candidate do you think would best address this problem, and why to you think that?
Statistically, immigrants (illegal or legal) commit less crimes than natives. While I'm all for imprisoning and then deporting criminal illegal (and legal) aliens.
Yes, I'm aware of the statistics. Unfortunately, that doesn't really help the families of Kate Steinle or the many others who have been murdered by people here illegally. Which is why I ask the question: what should be done about "Sanctuary Cities"?
