Personally, I don’t see anything to get excited about. Anyone with just a bit of political knowledge knew she was going to be the nominee as far back as 2012. Even further back, 2008, one knew she would be the leading candidate for the Democrats nomination. It was a done deal back in 2012 and close to a done deal in 2008.

What I can’t understand is why all the glee and happiness over Clinton and I would throw in Trump. You have two candidates here in which 60% of all Americans do not want one or the other to be their next president. 40% of all Americans want neither to be their next president, they detest both Trump and Clinton.

It seems the giddiness, the happiness, the celebrations are confined to each candidate’s avid supporters. While the majority of Americans shake their heads in wonderment at how our two major parties choose two candidates that are so disliked and the majority of Americans don’t want. It’s like the two major parties are tone deaf to the wants and wishes of America as a whole.

But then that is nothing new, is it?
