Ha, these DNC cables may have well just won Trump the election.

The whole Clinton game plan is in these cables...

You can bet Hillary has no time to redesign the playbook that was just given away.

There are tons of these and similar cables.... Also, Hillary seems to only focus on bashing Trump, I have not found a email yet that talks about Hillary and her platform - the cables all seem to be about Trump.

    Hillary is done.

Maybe it's just me, but I always took "vote for X because Y is worse" to be somewhat facetious. This is the first time to my knowledge that someone is running purely on a negative platform. If Hillary has a positive platform, we don't know what it is yet... she toes the line too much in trying to appeal to both the middle and to Bros who are against the TPP etc. People just assume her platform is somewhere between Bill Clinton and Obama, which might be fair, but at this point it mostly seems to exist in people's imaginations.

So, since Hillary is the first to be entirely negative Trump must have many positive ideas.

Care to tell us some of them?, specific things he has some idea of how to do, not just slogans

In a sentence or two. So we are supposed to vote for her because Obama could not get it done but now Hillary can?

She has no explanation why she is better than Obama. And he sucks big time.

So, you want to admit that both scrubs shouldn't be our nation's president?

Well, he's against the TPP. Wants to build a wall to enforce immigration laws and stifle drug trafficking. He would send ground troops against ISIS. Those are the things I remember off the top of my head.

Also, he wants to Make America Great Again :D

It's tangential but I think that for all of the "old white people need to die" talk, the Democrats have a much harder time convincing everyone in their tent to get along. It seems to have been accomplished only through lies and now the lies are gone, so I can't see how they would hold both moderates and far leftists at the same time. The MSM slant is amazing right now but no one under 30 actually seems to watch TV and they think Slate is a blog.

I thought about it some more. Other than the wall (which he may not be able to build) and the Muslim ban (which he almost surely can't do) Trump is the furthest left Republican candidate in a long time, possibly ever.

So if you MUST STOP HIM then won't you also need to stop someone else in four years, then another person four years after that, going on forever? Since they'll probably only get more conservative again after Trump. Maybe sometimes it's better to not settle.

Well... You have admitted to be afraid so I know you probably liked the RNC more. They went fear overdrive like all good Fascists. Trump tried to play the part of Mussolini... Heck... You can see he has been watching him to prepare himself for the RNC.
Unfortunately for Trump he looks like an idiot. So did Mussolini... Though in no way as farcical as Trump.
Comparing the two conventions? The RNC was a joke. At least the Democrats don't behave like the world is ending without reason.

Fascism was and is a political ideology, the ideology of the State. Because without the State, nothing exists. Businesses wouldn't thrive without government ensuring security. Said government wouldn't be formed without people willing to work in government. And the people wouldn't be able to live securely and freely without a strong government.

Mussolini was an incredibly smart man, even if the blackshirts ended up overshadowing much of Mussolini's work(that and his alliance with Nazi Germany.) World history would be different if Fascist Italy aligned with the Western Powers.

A Muslim ban is the one thing he can do administratively since current law gives him that power.

It was a political ideology based on rooting out all dissent and opposing thought. Hardly very political in my mind. Just Fascist. To be political you actually have to engage in politics. Not dictates.
Government worked long before Fascism. Not sure why or where you get the idea that Fascism brought anything but the opposite of what you claim.

Mussolini was an incredibly stupid man. You even gave a reason for it. He aligned with Hitler. But there are of course more reasons for him being an idiot.
He had all the popularity and backing a politician could wish for and yet he plunged Italy into senseless wars in Africa he could't even win against tribes. He had more power than any other politician in Italian history and he did nothing useful with it.
Nah man... Violence and idiocy was what characterised Mussolini. Hardly anything to want for your own country... Unless of course you are moron.

Maybe he can then, but it'd be a pretty terrible idea. Some really strict vetting that blocks most appeals would make more sense. I read somewhere that Japan took in 26 Syrian refugees, it's not much but you probably want to err on the side of caution instead of enacting a blanket ban.

Obama has a 56% approval rating which is 20 point,s higher than Reagan or Bush at this stage of their presidencies. Only whacky right wing nuts think he sucks.

Jack, even were you correct, it does not matter. Obama is still a lousy president.

As they learned at San Bernadino, it takes 1 or 2 poor choices and people die. We here in the USA are under assault. To pretend it is still business as usual is crazy.

I believe you're confusing personal popularity with support for positions. If you ask people whether they like President Obama, most will say yes because he's the first African American president and a nice, decent guy. But ask people if they support Obamacare, ask people if they like the way Obama is handling ISIS, ask people if they support Obama's position on immigration, ask people if the homeland is safer under Obama, ask people if Obama is doing right by people in law enforcement, ask whether the trade deals/policies supported by President Obama are good for the U.S., ask whether Obama has taken the right approach with respect to Israel or Iran or Libya or China or Syria. If you ask about these and other specific issues, you get very different results (and not just from the whacky right wing nuts).

Even more funny how he claims the RNC was a joke. Yet the Demos have destroyed that Motto of Philly and Brotherly luv. Started out with the PC agenda and having the Mississippi Flag taken down. Then the Sanders supporters showing the reality for what it.....actually is. It so crystal clear that even a simple simon could figure it out.

Naturally those who aspire to the leftness. Can't even report the (*)(*)(*)(*) accurately.

Its a DNA problem in their mix.

Its clear that the Sanders supporters have no luv for Hillary Clinton. Of course more have been arrested at the DNC and its not even over.

Except with the poll that only matters.....which is what direction the country is headed. Then BO peep and the Demos are way underwater. 66% the majority.....think it is headed in the wrong direction under Demo governing and their Policies. Its up on RCP so it can't be missed.

And the clincher is.....the number continues to rise as we keep getting closer to November.

I agree that most Americans are not happy about the direction this country is headed. However unless Mr. Trump can put together a cogent plan to turn things for the better he will get beat in November. So far, all I have heard from him and his supporters is a bunch of fear mongering, silly attacks on the opposition and chest beating with nothing to back them up.

Actually, Obama's approval ratings are over 30 points higher than George W Bush's were at this point.

    This is who they are,
    this is what they do.

Have you seen the rage from the young Bernie supporters? They did not know this about The Clintons, the DNC and the Democrat Party.

Then you need to start paying attention as why most Americans aren't happy with the Demos Governing and Policies. That's the Key issue.....the majority against the Demos being in Power, breaking rules and laws, and then acting like they are above everybody else. The People are tired of that BS.

And its going to show in November.
