Makes sense on your part to have NATO business as usual with the US footing more of your bill under Hillary

It makes sense as an american too. It's not only NATO, it's the entire international order that's at stake. Hillary stands for a continuation and expansion of the security and economic structures that the US has been building up since the end of world war two. To abandon those is literally to throw away decades of american efforts to shape and influence the world. it's been a bipartisan effort btw. Don't you get how important this is, how great a tool it is? Currently, the entire world essentially plays by your rules. Via NATO, WTO, UN, etc the USA has basically set down the international rules, and the USA also has great influence in all those institutions. And these rules are western, liberal, free, democratic, free trade. If you abandon that, new rules will come from places like russia, iran, china. Rules which are not democratic or free, rules which the USA does not have great influence in.

if Trump does what he says he will do, the loss of american influence will be HUGE.

The complaint in the US is that free trade has helped the American consumer and kept prices down but at the cost of millions of American jobs over the past couple decades. And with a 62% non-participating workforce, hard feelings prevail and hits almost all families in the country. Add in the large number of college grads that cant find work, and this isnt a happy country.

The percentage of GDP the U.S. spends on defense is 3.3%. This is more than any of our NATO allies, including Sweden, by a lot.

Sweden's defense spending is 1.18% of GDP. If you NATO countries are so worried about the great Russian menace, why don't you pay more for your own defense?

Answer: Because you want the American taxpayer to do it for you.

    Is that fair?

Did you know that there's movement within the Trump supporters group where they vote or say they are for Hillary in the polls? That's right, we figure, if Trump thinks he's losing in the polls he will try harder, while Hillary will suffer from a false sense of security and eventually lose. LOL

Dont think Trump or his advisors are going to look at this internal PF poll...just trying to get an 'relative sample' amongst the 'politically informed population'

I am voting Trump, since I support banning the Muslims, building the wall (and making the rapists pay for it) and giving the police the legal right to shoot criminal Thugs without fear of prosecution.

Sorry about that...that " option " didnt seem feasible!

Guess some hardcore NEVERTRUMP'ers might do that and seal their career as a Republican politician

~OR~ Perhaps some Republicans got tired of being called a RINO for not going TP and abandoning what the Party had stood for since Reagan. Perhaps they could no longer pretend things were "Okay" and functional in the Party and realized that what it had become and the mouthbreathers who basically told them they were no longer welcome had a point worth listening to. It might even be possible they decided to drop the Republican registration and affiliation to become Independent and found the Old party candidate to be so pathetically ignorant as to be dangerous. These individuals could even hold their nose and decide to vote HillBill in order to at least get something slightly close to the Party they were forced out of.

    I understand.

My Dad, 93 yo, has been a Republican since being a Reagan Democrat.... but after the 2012 election, he re-registered as an Independent.

If Hillary gets in, I will also follow that route..only thing is , is that I cant vote out Republicans in the primary as is closed in AZ!

Btw, he passed away last year but I'm very sure he wouldnt vote for Hillary!!

I'm a libertarian voting Hillary (I put it down under 'independent'). In any normal election I would vote Johnson, but I'm not going to risk a Trump presidency, whether she's corrupt or not. I'd rather go to a restaurant with consistently terrible burgers than one that gives you a plate of literal cow crap and maybe has a one in ten chance of giving you a decent burger.

First....I am sorry for your loss, that's gotta suck.

I also lost primary voting when I switched in March, but it would not have mattered regardless and I would have voted for anyone but McConnell anyway. You might as well get the ball rolling dude because HillBill has already pretty much won and the Trumpster will make it even easier for her simply by talking.

Yes, Hillary wants war with Russia. We know this. Some of us here in America don't champion that idea.

Sounds like the Swede's neighbor Norway, who 1/2 the country is afraid of the Russian threat (another thread) , would want her for Pres !!
