This thread is mostly directed to foreigners who use this argument. Why do you guys ask why we need an AR15 when in countries like Germany, Canada, and even Australia allows the same type of rifle for sport? Yet you mock us when we say that we use the same gun for sport as well? Most other countries have strict laws about using a gun for self defense so the only legal use they would recognize is sport.

Whatever Foreigners do in their own Country is fine by Me, it is when they try to impose their ideas on U.S. that is when I object !

Just checking - you understand the difference between "imposing" and just stating an opinion, right?

When Foreign freaks like Billionaire George Soros and his lapdog Rebecca Peters, they actually reside in U.S. push for more Gun control here in U.S. it ceases to be a mere opinion, they wage war on American values and the BoR and Constitution.

Morbid fascination mate, i think that's the main reason.

Guns for self defence - Thats a biggy and varies hugely depending on where in the world you are - Where i live for example, the need to own a gun for self defence would mean 1 of 2 things.

1 - You don't live in a very nice and should move ASAP!

2 - You are a weak man who needs to own/carry a weapon in order to feel safe.

This doesn't mean that americans who own guns are weak because every country is different and has a different culture - This is just the way it is where i come from.

They have the right to express their opinion; we have the right to laugh at them.

Nice false dichotomy you have there, mate. :roflol:

I suppose you have never faced a person or persons intent on killing you ???
Have you ever traveled to other Countries ? hunted wild game ?

You seem to dialogue as a very young or inexperienced person, perhaps having traveled very little of the world.

I doubt your opinions are all that common where you live either.

I guess Police Officers are weak, they carry firearms, and if you encounter a rabid animal or wild beast that must be put down, what do you do if you are not armed ?

Just one episode at any point in life, where you face armed people who want to kill you will convince you forever that life favors the armed man.

George Soros is listed as an American citizen but one article say that he gas " dual citizenship. I am not seeing how that is possible since everyone who becomes an American citizen has to disavow any and all allegence to the former country that you were a citizen of. I will never accept the concept of dual citizenship. That is as stupid as someone dildo head claiming to be bi-sexual.

Now having said that I want the OP to show proof as to how Soros " wages war on American values" or the Constitution.

WTH is a " BoR" ? Board of Regents? " Black on Red" ? " Bank of Ruthenia" ?

And if you cannot move, either because you cannot afford it, or you are too connected to the area in which you live to just pack up everything and leave?

Such as someone who suffers from mobility issues and simply cannot move about freely, and is otherwise at the mercy of more able-bodied individuals?

Through superior funding, and importing more of their like into the country to drown out those that have differing opinions.

Apparently you are not familiar with the influence that the United Nations has on America nor the effect of what Saudi money has done to influenced our politics.

And hundreds of thousands have had one and had a great desire for a gun, alas for some it was too late but...errr what was your point again? Friggin people who base decisions on singular experiences are certainly self centered...eh mate?

I have been all over the World, and there are crazed killers in every Country, more in some less in others, I wanted to see beautiful sea ports, beaches at midnight, moon lit bays, high mountain tops, I have had clouds pass around me, I have faced killers, I am still alive, a bit battered and pained, however, I have lived more than most people do in three life times, that bothers many people.

I would rather live the way I have lived, than have live a boring life in, Crab Apple Cave.

Oh yeah, Guns, for hunting, self defense, plinking, working as a Lawman, a Gun was part of the job.

Sorry but you cannot have an AR 15 in Australia unless you join the Armed forces

Are the guns used in the US shootings available in Australia?

According to media reports, Adam Lanza was armed with a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle, as well Glock and SIG-Sauer pistols.

The Bushmaster AR-15 is based on the US military standard issue firearm (often referred to as the M16) and is a semi-automatic centre fire rifle firing .223 calibre (or 5.56mm) rounds. Under Australian laws, it would be classified as a Category D firearm, with ownership restricted to military, police, and professional vertebrate pest controllers.

It should be noted that fully-automatic rifles (‘machine guns’) are never permitted for civilian ownership.

Glock or SIG-Sauer pistols may be legally owned in Australia, providing they fall within the length, calibre or shot capacity limits of Australian law. Both companies manufacture a wide variety of models, so it is not possible to generalise. However, some media reports have stated that the Glock pistol used was chambered for 10mm ammunition, which exceeds the maximum permitted calibre in Australia.
