this seems kinda of right, when you look at whites racism history in america because it's dam awful. not even the hispanics or asians discriminated like whites did in America

It's because of patriotism. Hispanics and Asians are loyal to their ethnic countries, whites are loyal to their home country, America, and blacks probably couldnt tell you what country they're from, but many of them have no problem telling you they hate this one. The flag represents this country and if you hate this country then it's probably pretty easy to disrespect our national symbol.

 

And lately, some Liberal Asians have the misguided opinion that they can build a coalition with the rabid African-American community. To that, I say good luck. Most of the uneducated amongst them can't tell the difference between an Asian and a White. I'm DEAD serious. Remember that Indian that was targeted and killed as a part of the Michael Brown riots?

 

Very few people have ever heard Kaepernick's specific complaints. The MSM has spiked the complaint and focused on his c/pig socks.

If he really wants to be heard he should hold a press conference in NY or DC.

 

Think about this for a moment, these are the groups who say they are being oppressed by whites: Blacks, Hispanics, Asians and Indians. Now the only way that could ever possibly be true is if whites are some how superior or the other groups inferior. Is that what libs want us to believe? Liberals need to watch what they say because they're the true racists.

If true, and I'd like to believe it is, then loving this country means you love the flag and not disrespect it because it represents the country. The only way disrespecting the flag could be remotely justified is if one believed this country stood for and accepted racism and mistreatment. We don't, and we have laws and policies meant to prevent racism and mistreatment.

And for that they have my respect and gratitude.

The idea that you can earn respect and equality (based on the blacks' assumption that they don't have them) in a country by disrespecting the country and spitting in the face of its population is frankly absurd and utterly counter-productive, whatever Kaupernick and his supporters tried to achieve, they are getting resentment and alienation instead. He would have done much better by establishing a scholarship fund for 10 bright black kids from poor underprivileged families.

The facts, which have been cited COUNTLESS times on this forum from the FBI (who run's the FBI again?) Uniform Crime Report show the most dangerous threat to African Americans, is African Americans. Not police, and not white people.

Which proves nothing. If that stat had been true in the 50s (no idea if it was or wasn't but that's not the point) would that have meant segregation wasn't an issue? Everyone in this country is more likely to be killed by someone of their race, that doesn't make discrimination less of a problem.

But for his jersey to jump to #1 in sales means there are more than just blacks buying them.
To me, buy means support, but sure, it's not the majority.
Whites haven't lived the lives of blacks so many have no clue what he's protesting about.
