Extra high G-Forces cause pilots to pass out and the aircraft's Autopilot kicks in to keep the plane in the air until s/he regains consciousness. Wonder if other aircraft have the same. Story w/video @ http://www.popsci.com/watch-f-16-take-over-when-pilot-passes-out
I don't think other aircraft can pull enough G's when making a turn as the F-16. The F-16 can make maneuvers that a pilot can't withstand. It's a fly by wire aircraft.
Reminds me of the time I woke up plowing through the median grass on I-20 two exits past where I was supposed to get off.
