    Since the birther movement origins made it back in the media and therefore a current event once again, I would like to point out that it was neither Trump nor Hillary who started the birther movement.

    It was the literary agency Acton & Dystel who claimed Obama was born in Kenya while showcasing their roster of writers in 1991.

    And the left-wing snopes.com agrees...

    I'm guessing the xenophiles at this agency got a bigger thrill up their leg by describing Obama as a non-American, and thought it might sell more. .
