I wonder if the brave IDF are going to kill these peace activists too? I think having a boatload of women is a very smart play. It will be difficult to spin this one as they did the last.

    Godspeed ladies!

Two boats packed with activists, politicians, and artists from around the world have set sail for the Gaza Strip as part of an effort to break a nearly decade-long Israeli blockade. The boats, named Amal and Zaytouna (“hope” and “olive” in Arabic, respectively), set sail on Wednesday from Barcelona, with only women comprising the crew for each vessel.

Who gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) about two boatfull of misguided, misinformed idiots? Do you think just because they're females, they'll be able to disobey orders of the Israeli navy? If that is what they think, they have another thing coming :wall:

It's a brilliant move. The (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) IDF killing women peace activists for providing the every day essentials that Israel will not allow Palestinians simply will not be spun any other way. Sorry if that pisses some off... but not really.

What if they don't kill anybody and the situation remains calm with the ship sitting there for weeks doing nothing with repeated calls by Israel to offload the cargo and bring it to Gaza after it has been inspected?

They need to search every square inch of that shipment. Your bed fellows are known for using women and children to shield their terrorist activities. If they get killed in the process, they get to use images of the carnage to gain world sympathy. Of course, that doesn't pi$$ you off because they are not Jews.

Because U.S. Aid to Egypt stipulates that the Egyptians do what the Israeli government wants & be complicit with Israeli atrocities.

Essentially "Aid to Egypt" is just more Aid to Israel.

“Everything You Need to Know About U.S. Aid to Egypt”
    http://www.realclearworld.com/artic...eed_to_know_about_us_aid_to_egypt_105308.html

EXCERPT “President Mubarak and military leaders view our military assistance program as the cornerstone of our mil-mil relationship and consider the USD 1.3 billion in annual FMF as "untouchable compensation" for making and maintaining peace with Israel. The tangible benefits to our mil-mil relationship are clear: Egypt remains at peace with Israel, and the U.S. military enjoys priority access to the Suez Canal and Egyptian airspace.”

What a load of crap, Egypt never did what Israel "wants" they still call us "the enemy" on national networks, this grudge on Hamas is due to the war they have with MB just unlike Israel they dont give a flying (*)(*)(*)(*) on western civil rights values when they are at war so they seal the border, no movement of ppl into and out of Sinai and no checking of supplies. and the military aid was strictly to fight ISIS in Sinai, has nothing to do with sealed borders to Gaza. read some normal news for a change and stop making demented accusations.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they did.

Weren't they involved in a gun running operation eight years ago ? Maybe it was IDF forces using paint ball guns on these liberal loons ?

Obama might be a pro Muslim Brotherhood activist just as these pro-Hamas activists but it's just another loony left liberal stunt.

I think I just described the eight year Obama administration, a liberal stunt.

Israel is definitely not the enemy for the Egyptian government. You can see on the normal news how people don't attack the Israel embassy when Sisi took power with a coup.
The people and the government is two different things. This government was never chosen to begin with! And this government receives huge sums of aid money. There are some dots you could connect here you don't have to be gifted or stupid to see this.

The dots I connected led to ISIS in Sinai, not doing what Israel tells them to do, if you got a diffrent picture please share, not attacking Israeli embassy is not my idea of doing what Israel tells them to do, its basic law and order in every state......

Well I'm not going to say that Israel is the only beneficiary in this aid package deal but I bet Israel certainly plays a crucial role.

I don't think the people in Egypt are happy with current political relations with Israel. A democratically elected government in Egypt would probably be less friendly and more assertive with Israel. So instead of going that direction they now have a military who took power with a coup, probably under pressure of having their military aid package cut. Now Israel has a neighbor who's more friendly with them and accepts pretty much all their terms. We never hear about a clinch between Sisi and Israel or Sisi and the USA.
This type of politics can't really be healthy but that's just me, and that's not the point here.

As long as Sisi plays along, or Mubarak before him, the cash flows in. And in fact the US wanted (or actually did, I don't remember) to freeze the aid money before the coup took place.
But Israel might not be the only beneficiary from this aid package. There is probably a lot in it for the US as well, I mean in their own interest.

    Anyone will connect these dots.
If the Egyptian people didn't have a problem with how politics are conducted with Israel then you could say they're just all allies. But that's not the case. Sisi took power with a coup reversing the will of the people to keep relations with the USA and Israel the way they are.

In essence, the IDF would be defending their borders from attack by an invading force. Gender and intent have no bearing on the issue. If these women are to self important to follow directions they should get what they deserve.

Hamas is in a declared state of war against the State of Israel.

Thus the Israeli navy maintains an embargo on in-coming vessels from the sea to prevent the smuggling
    in of weapons.

Using children, women, peaceniks, trendy leftists sprinked in among terrorists to try test the embargo has gone on since Hamas declared war against Israel and found the embargo placed on the seas around it.

Here's what Sam S who tries as hard as he can to incite hatred against Israel with his threads won't acknowledge:

1-Israel contunies to supply electricity and water to the Palestinian people, and some of these plants were in fact hit and knocked out by the rockets fired by Hamas from within the Gaza Strip, cutting power to thousands during the last war against Israel.

2-Since January of 2013, over 20,000 truckloads of supplies continue to come in from Israelinto Gaza for consumption and use by the citizens. Contrary to the deliberate misrepresentations its not an embargo. If it was in fact an embargo it would prevent the goods from coming in. They are in fact screened for military weapons.

3-the supplies continuing to go in include meat, vegitables, canned foods, medical supplies, fuel, water, medical equipment, animal food, school supplies, and cosmetic products. No one is starving in Gaza. In fact even the PA and Hamas when caught lying that they were starving had to respond their false allegations when they got caught to admit Gaza citizens are not starving but they are what they claim "food sensitive" or "food anxious" or "food insecure". Unlike the siege in Allepo or the on-going genocides in Southern Sudan, against Kurds, against Yazidi, or peasants surrounded by extremist Muslim terrorists in Chad, Dahomey, Senegal, Niger, Mali, Malawi, Libya, no one in Gaza is starving.

4- It is in fact the Palestinian Authority that has accused Hamas of stealing thousands of liters of fuel from local Gazan companies and then telling the media that there was a fuel shortage. The extremist PA wing, Fatah, has repeatedly claimed that Hamas is lying about fuel shortages.

5- After the war with Hamas (Operation Cast Lead) in 2008-2009, Israel donated over $1 million in medical and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, in addition to 600 ambulances.

6-Israel in fact treated Injured Palestinians and still treats Palestinians in Israeli hospitals, and the border crossing as we speak is used to get medical equipment and other necessary supplies to the strip.

7- In fact commercial crossings between Gaza and Israel have been kept open - especially since the June 19, 2008, “state of calm” which allowed for a 50% increase of material goods into Gaza.

8-As we speak Gazans in need of medical assistance in Israel especially for cancer, diabetes, heart disease or terminal illnesses like MS, MD, continue to go to Israel for medical treatement. The top echelons of Hamas and the PA have sent their immediate relatives to Israel for cancer care.

9-Since aJune 19, 2008 agreement, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published daily delivery statements on the shipments in and out of Gaza. Anyone can find them and they are available spefically to expose people like Sam S and others who deliberately misrepresent what is going on to exploit Gaza for Hamas propaganda reasons.

10-Sam will not admit anyone can go get these documents and have exposed the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the media of being absolutely wrong in stating that the Israeli government has been preventing humanitarian supply shipments into Gaza-it showed the exact opposite and the UN then had to admit it was wrong.

11-In fact it is Hamas witholding supplies from the Palestinians in Gaza and re-routing food, cement, and other materials which it trades on the black markets to purchase weapons and again build tunnerls.

12-Hamas got caught red handed siezing 200 tons of food and supplies from the UNRWA.

13-Have Sam explain how it is Palestinians receive per capita the most international aid in the entire world, and they have nothing to show for it? He'd love to blame it on Israel but it is Hamas who has been given the money and as we speak does not build schools, houses, hospitals, mosques, roads, infrastructure. The money goes to weapons and into the pockets of bank accounts of corrupt Hamas and PA officials.

14- On August 2014 a report by the anti Israeli United Nations Development Program (UNDP), stated funds allocated to the Gaza Strip for construction and relief had been mishandled and not overseen properly and that at least 5 people who were not registered as UN staff handled "core" procurement processes for ordering of the construction supplies. It went on to say the UNDP office was "not monitoring and recording actual work" performed, and that the terms of employment did not specify the employees duties or services provided to specific projects and that their program office was not keeping track of program reciepts or expenditures, with 12 out of 41 orders in the system not having reciepts to go with them.

15- Back in 2010 the Israeli government approved measures that allowed for a significant easing of the border blockade, and has allowed basically all non-military use items to pass through without a problem. This new system for handling the border crossing does not apply to their maritime blockade however because physically the ships coming to Gaza have to physically be searched since they are not coming in on the ground where they can be stopped and searched.

16-At the present time while materials for infrastructure have been allowed in Gaza there is zero sign of any construction and there's a reason for it-that material isn't being used to rebuild homes, schools, etc., its being used to rebuild the tunnels Israel blew up. Hamas refuses to engage in public works projects.

17-In 2013 Israel again eased restrictions on construction equipment going through the border to Gaza but the material went into building tunnels which in fact Egypt destroyed terror tunnels. Egypt caught Hamas and Al Quaeda smuggling in weapons. Yes the destruction of these tunnels stopped food smuggling as well causing food prices to sky rocket and of course construction materials supposedly sent to build homes, etc. were nowhere to be found.

18- It is in fact the Egyptians that have imposed a much harsher blockade.

19-It is fact even admitted by Hamas and the PA that Israel has opened up it's border crossings and lessened the blockade on multiple occasions since Hamas has had control of Gaza, allowing for humanitarian aid and supplies as well as people to cross between.

20-Hamas has admitted Israel treata injured Gazans, and sends food, fuel, and other necessities over the border but in fact its Egypt that maintains a tight and stringent blockade, rarely opening it's gates since the blockade began.

21- Israel in fact lets the aid in, Egypt does not.

22-Have you ever once seen these anti Israelis exploiting Gaza talk of Egypt?

In summary, sending "freedom flotillas" does not get Hamas or Gaza citizens sympathy, it in fact unintentionally exposes
how Hamas has captured its citizens, holds them hostage in a war against Israel.

The flotillas don't address the fact that Israel has to do what it does to prevent weapons smuggling. The flotilla dupes refuse to acknowledge the role of Hamas, how its at war with Israel and how its tried time and time again to smuggle in by sea
    weapons.

The first of these childish and insipid attempts to confront the Israeli on May 31 2010 and it was repeated again in 2014. Neither stopped the navy blockade.

Turkey in fact sent these flotillas with 40 civilians and over 100 self admitted terrorists on board the ship. The films clearly showed these supposed peaceful individuals attacking Israeli navy personnel landing from helicopters with metal bars and knives, leadingto 9 of them dying in the struggle and many others being wounded. These idiot leftists were pushed to the side by terrorists who deliberately implemented violent attacks.

Interestingly 5 other "Gaza Freedom Flotilla" ships in the area only employed passive resistance and were involved in less confrontations with Israeli forces than the first ship and NO ONE was hurt.. All of the ships were towed to Israel, where all of the people on board were arrested and deported.

This 2010 incident did contribute to the loosening of the blockade and border crossings by Israel and so its not a surprise its done again and again..

At this time and as long as Hamas is in a declared state of war against Israel, the Israeli government has no chice but to patrol the sea areas around Gaza and board ships looking for weapons.

No its not going to be lifted as long as Hamas is in a declared state of war and if Gaza ciizens suffer then ask would they...would they suffer if Hamas put down their arms and recognized Israel as a state with the right to be Jewish?

Of course not. They would enjoy relations with Israel like they once did before Hamas was taken over by a terorist wing and blew up its Israeli built infrastructures and killed thousands of Palestinians it accused of collaborating with Israel.

By the way, it is fact that following a meeting of the Israeli-Palestinian Joint Water Committee on March 4, 2015, Israel announced the doubling of water delivery to Gaza begining in mid 2015. Israeli authorities decided to up the amount of water sent to Palestinian territories from 5 million cubic meters per year to 10 million in an effort to combat the water crisis in the region. The Palestinian Authority pays Israel an estimated $3 million per year for their water, which constitutes less than 10% of the water consumed in the Palestinian territories.

Also it is now public record that the Israeli Crossing Authority stopped 847 attempted smugglings during 2015, mostly at the Kerem Shalom border crossing and that onfiscated items included GoPro cameras, laser makers and electrodes for weaponry and explosive devices, pipes used to manufacture rockets, firecrackers, coals, lighter fliud, soldering coils, and disassembled vehicles.

In fact in 2915 there was a 33% rise in the number of Gaza pedestrians entering Israel through a border crossing, with 11.4 million entries compared to 8.6 million in 2014.

On average 41,000 Gazan pedestrians per day made the journey to and from work in Israel through the crossings and there was an 18% increase in the number of trucks moving into and out of Gaza compared to 2014.

It is also public fact that Israeli security forces and customs officers stopped a shipment from entering the Gaza Strip prior to the 2016 Passover holiday containing four tons of chemicals used for making rockets on May 2, 2016. They uncovered four tons of ammonium chloride hidden in a 40-ton shipment of salt at the Nitzana border crossing. (ammonium chloride is used in the production of long-range rockets).

As well on May 27, 2016, a massive shipment of rocket and tunnel building supplies hidden in boxes of textiles and jewlery were confiscated..

Israel's defence Minister, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon announced on May 4, 2016, that the Erez border crossing was going to start letting trucks, goods, supplies, and food through for the first time in eight years.

As well on May 30, 2016, a shipment of 10 illegal drones bound for terror groups in Gaza was discovered and confiscated at the Erez border crossing. T.

Also the Israeli government announced a $78 million plan in May 2016 to upgrade security checkpoints between the Palestinian territories and Israel, allowing more Palestinians to cross into Israel for work and cutting wait times at checkpoints because there are about 60,000 Palestinians who have permits to work in Israel and need to get in despite what Hamas is doing,

What Sam and others do are to exploit Palestinians in Gaza. They use the Palestinian people as pawns pretending they are starved by Israel. Its a pathetic, transparent, cynical attempt to focus on the Israeli navy and blame Israel rather than
acknowledging the reasoning behind it-preventing incoming weapons to Hamas.

All my information for the above is recited with some changes from the Jewish Virtual Library article as to the above at:

    www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/talking/62_Blockade.html

The above article got its information from:

    Sources: The Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
    “Former Israeli Nazy chief: any Gaza seaport would be an Iranian seaport,” Algemeiner (August 17, 2014);
    Miller, Elhanan. “Israel to double water delivery to Gaza,” Times of Israel (March 4, 2015);

    “Mail fail: Israel intercepts Gaza-bound drone shipment,” Jerusalem Post, (May 31, 2016);

Bottom line-using dupes to try break the blockade is not going to happen.

If these dupes were really interested in Palestinians, they would be demanding Hamas
disarm and stop stealing their aid money to build tunnels, pad their Swiss bank accounts
    and build tunnels.

Let these idiots demand Hamas liberate its people. Right like that will happen.

Bottom line-using dupes to try break the blockade is not going to happen.

If these dupes were really interested in Palestinians, they would be demanding Hamas
disarm and stop stealing their aid money to build tunnels, pad their Swiss bank accounts
    and build tunnels.

Let these idiots demand Hamas liberate its people. Right like that will happen.

Hamas is in a declared state of war against the State of Israel.

Thus the Israeli navy maintains an embargo on in-coming vessels from the sea to prevent the smuggling
    in of weapons.

These flotilla ship p.r. exercises re-focus away from Hamas' decision to remain at war with Israel whch causes the blockade to the Israeli navy. Its cynical, its transparent, and it exploits the suffering of Palestinians held hostage by Hamas and used as pawns as their aid money is wasted on a futile war and building more tunnels..

The tactic of Hamas using women as dupes to fight their battles should be no surprise to anyone:

    http://www.wnd.com/2008/03/58837/

    Not just women, children:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BWPhC3-AGU

I believe the following article best summarizes a response
    to this latest flotilla farse.

    http://www.algemeiner.com/2016/09/08/womens-flotilla-about-everything-but-helping-gaza/

    Here are some exerpts.

Arguably, more humanitarian aid now flows into Gaza than ever before. And strong evidence indicates that Hamas chooses to divert significant amounts of construction material that should be used to rebuild housing in order to gear up for future terrorist attacks against Israel.

And so a flotilla aimed at drawing attention to Palestinian suffering hopes to set sail shortly and make it to Gaza by October 1.

Its message: Israel is to blame for everything; it (Israel) should willingly embrace suicide for its people by ending a naval blockade on Gaza that stops Hamas from importing even more weapons of war. The Women’s Boat to Gaza‘s message for Hamas? Nothing,

    ...
The ships will carry no aid, organizers say. Ending the blockade is the sole mission. Organizers insist the the blockade is illegal but offer no support for the claim.

    ...
There are things the passengers can do to help, however, if their agenda truly is about improving life for Palestinians and not some feckless attempt to discredit Israel.

They should start by condemning Hamas’ political leaders for making jihad a priority over improving living conditions. As much as 95 percent of cement meant for rebuilding Gaza gets diverted to tunnel building. The Los Angeles Times also described a concern among some Gaza residents that the money that does go toward home construction benefits Hamas insiders and mosques first.

    ...

The boat women also can demand that Hamas stop indoctrinating Palestinian children with messages glorifying violent jihad and martyrdom. It has been going on for years. Simply put: It is indefensible.

Finally, a flotilla of women hoping to improve life for Palestinians in Gaza should say something about the treatment of women under Hamas rule. Something is amiss in a society when women riding bicycles creates a stir. Women in Gaza also cannot dance or smoke in public, or have their hair done by men."

    'FROM THE 'DEMENTED', GENOCIDAL REGIME

It is always from the safety of behind a screen or a skirt that Tough Talking Zionists have the courage to Insult, flamebait and vilify all who condemn their Government's greed, parasitism & genocidal agenda?

I have yet to hear from an “Israel Advocate” who can calmly & honestly refute the irrefutable fact that Israel is a widely despised parasitic pariah that commits Genocide not only with impunity but has been enabled by foreign $ Trillions to exterminate as per a REAL holocaust.

    By
, I'm sure you mean C.A.M.E.R.A. approved, Zionist dominated Western Major Media[1], [2] which is rapidly being eclipsed by Independent media

Oh No! That's the last thing that Genocidal Zionists want is for the World to see / read about a REAL holocaust in action.

AND, that's why bringing attention to the besieged & decimated Zionist, "Gaza Gulag" has your collective, Zionist Yarmulkes in a knot.

Yes, in addition to delivering a relatively small amount of food & medicine to people who need it, this is courageous undertaking by a few brave women is for the badly need exposure of the only foreign funded Genocide on the planet.

Widespread international exposure is, apparently, the only remedy for the Israeli Government's current & ongoing Genocidal agenda as parasitic Zionist Lobbies infest Western Governments to the detriment of the "host" country.

There have been several Threads discussing what was recently termed as "The Holocaust®". Among the primary grievances expressed was its lack of publicity during the 1940s: "Why didn't the World know / do something?"

While we can do nothing to change PAST history and Past enormities, we can change atrocities occurring in the PRESENT.

No matter how badly TODAY'S murderous, & Land Hungry Israeli Zionists want to hide their Genocidal agenda by employing State funded Propaganda Networks of Nasty Hasbara Trolls, Zionist dominated Major Media [3], AIPAC, ADL, C.A.M.E.R.A. censorship etc., the World will, at least, witness the machinations of one of the world's least popular States.

    _ _ _ _ _

Additionally, you suggest that Israel somehow embodies characteristics of
    .

While history is replete with episodes of Ethnic Cleansing, I, personally, don't hold Ethnic Cleansing, expulsion & bigotry to be admirable characteristics of "western civil rights values."

"NEARLY HALF OF ISRAELI JEWS BELIEVE IN ETHNIC CLEANSING, SURVEY FINDS"
    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...nians-wake-up-call-survey-finds-a6919271.html
EXCERPTS “ Almost half of Jewish Israelis believe Arabs should be "expelled or transferred" from Israel, a survey has found.

A study carried out by the Pew Research Centre(*)found that around one in five adults questioned “strongly agreed” with the controversial statement, which amounts to ethnic cleansing under some definitions.(*)

The Encyclopaedia Britannica describes the act as “attempting to create ethnically homogeneous geographic areas through the deportation or forcible displacement of persons belonging to particular ethnic group”, while a United Nations report in 1993 additionally specified the use of “force or intimidation”.

    - While 54 to 71 per cent of Jews who defined themselves as ultra-Orthodox, religious or “traditional” supported such a step, only about 36 per cent of the secular community did.

    - In the same survey, almost 80 per cent of Jewish Israelis said Jews deserved preferential treatment in Israel, while a similar proportion of Israeli Arabs claimed they had seen discrimination against Muslims.”CONTINUED

    _ _ _ _ _

Among the participants of this courageous & honorable endeavor is actress LisaGay Hamilton who discusses the repression of this & other attempts to expose the Genocidal Zionist Agenda:

“Why I am on the Women’s Boat to Gaza”
    by LisaGay Hamilton
    http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/09/21/why-i-am-on-the-womens-boat-to-gaza/

EXCERPT “ Criticizing Israel or expressing concern for Palestinians is apparently still taboo in film, television, and even theater.
Recently the Public Theater in New York was forced to cancel a production of “The Siege,” a play about five International Solidarity Movement activists forced to take refuge in a church in Bethlehem during the Second Intifada in 2002.

Naomi is no stranger to this kind of censorship. Her play “Twenty-One Positions,” co-authored with Abdelfattah Abusrour and Lisa Schlesinger, was commissioned by the Guthrie Theater and then rejected for being too sympathetic to the Palestinians.

And when Tony-award winning actress Tonya Pinkins attempted to organize a benefit concert for the Movement for Black Lives, the venue owner abruptly canceled the event citing the movement’s criticisms of Israel.”CONTINUED

As you can see, it takes far more courage to protest Israel's Genocidal Agenda; an atrocity occurring in the PRESENT than to extort, whine & wail about tragedies of the PAST.

Whoever kicked up the tempest, the revision tactfully shifted the blame from the Israeli gunboat to the Palestinian children playing soccer on the beach.

One didn’t need another Wall Sreet Journal headline, “Cease-Fire Push Intensifies as Fatalities Rise on Both Sides,” for the answer, but again “both sides” obscured what had by then become the main concern: the disproportionate number of people killed: 571 Palestinians vs. 27 Israelis, 25 of them soldiers of the invading force.” CONTINUED

No but it is natural to insult flamebait and vilify jew haters with their own agenda. And guess what? you fit that bill to a T.

Israel does not commit genocide but that is so strongly entrenched in anti-zionists and jew haters that the self evident fact that there are approximately 5.5 million MORE palestinians than in 1948 seems to bounce off their foreheads.
And only jew haters even attempt to idiotically accuse Israel of a real holocaust. Apparently reality isn't at all to be considered when such specious, moronic claims are made.

Ah, yes the global jewish conspiracy. I'd say that the truth is the last thing that the genocidal jew haters want to see is actual comparisons between what is happening in Israel and the territories and the real holocaust. But feel free to exist in your little bubble of unreality.

Gee, it seems that in your world the only consequences are for those you hate. Its not like Gaza has a government that has clearly and repeatedly stated its goal is the extermination of Israel and then they and their supporters whinge about the consequences of armed resistance and terrorism. I know the nazi's were innocent victims of the jews as well.

have you ever stopped to consider that your perception of reality might not be?
