Oh how ironic; a defender of the Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton coalition forgets that Barack Obama not only had zero meaningful national level experience before becoming president, but had no foreign policy credentials either . . . and nor did Hillary before becoming Secretary of State. She was eight years a U.S. senator, and nothing else: Yes why have both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton totally sucked sewer water as foreign policy wonks? I suspect that the author is correct in his supposition:did they fail because they possess a toxic mixture of incompetence and ideological delusions? YES! Hillary Clinton better hope that Donald Trump does not bring his 'A' game to any of the presidential debates, because if she is going to stand on either her or Barack Obama's record then she is going to fail. Thanks to those two screw-ups the Middle East has become a nearly total hellhole, and that's NOT good foreign policy . . . expertise, not even for a pair of clueless Democratic Party politicians.
What the MSM failed to do was to mention Robert Gates criticism of Hillary Clinton in WSJ column. Easy to do because if you aren't a paid subscriber of the WSJ you weren't able to read the entire column that was published. Robert Gates has been a CIA and a YES MAN for both Republican and Democrat administrations. He's a G-2 guy, not a military expert or an intelligence analyst. He was picked and groomed by the CIA to be an administrator and to influence civilians in government. That has been his job for most of his life. The problem with Gates, he doesn't have a pair, just one testicle. Robert Gates as Secretary of Defense watched over more American troops being killed in Afghanistan during the first three years of the Obama administration than the entire eight years under the Bush administration because Gates allowed a community organizer to force politically correct rules of engagement upon our troops that favored the enemy and caused American soldiers, Marines and sailors to bleed and die in the name of political correctness. Under Gates buggery in the military became legal. If it weren't for a Marine Commandant, U.S. Marines would be wearing girly covers (hats) today. Under Robert Gates airmen started dressing in drag, Gates is nothing more than a REMF administrator, that's what the CIA groomed him to be.
