No, to his credit despite ranting against Trump he does acknowledge Trump is not anti-LGBTQ.

SSM is a done issue. The issue now are the push for the right of men to hang out in women's bathrooms, the right of schools to force teenage girls to sleep with teenage boys on overnight field trips with no advance notice to parents or the girl, and just how superior are the rights of LGBTQs over everyone else.

He's been meeting with anti-gay evangelical and Catholic leaders alike. Not to persuade them to have a change of heart/mind, but to pander to them to shore up support with the Republican base.

There is affirmative action for gay students. Affirmative action for gays in media. That is the problem with all this gay political stuff. What they want is affirmative action. All minorities are moochers.

Less than 4% of Americans identify as being gay. Why are they on tv at all? And they are already being overrepresented. If you didnt know any better you would think that every second person is gay. This gay stuff is a non-issue that liberal use to attack traditional conservatives with. And like most people are not racist - most people do not have a problem with the tiny 4% of the population that is gay. Any true conservative is against affirmative action so it is a liberal nonsense to suggest that someone must be anti-gay just because they are supporting Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton. Those are the two choices. A true conservative is not going to support Hillary Clinton. It is the same thing with calling all Trump supporters racists. It is a liberal nonsense and the exact kind of generalization that they complain about people making about minorities.

 

I suggest you read the current Republican platform and get back to us. Opposing the LGBT community is still a win for for the GOP, especially with religious social-conservatives.
