Let's hope these women make it through safely. These are good, peace-loving women of strong morals. Regardless of how some might spin this, it's the traumatized women and children of Gaza who will clearly benefit.

Here are some excerpts from the article:

Yes, Godspeed into the waiting arms of the IDF who will gently escort these peaceful souls to an inspection facility where they can offload their cargo for ground transport to Gaza and process their paperwork for them to follow.

    Peaceful people can accomplish much.

Let's hope it is peaceful and hassle free. It would be a terrible shame if the cowards of the IDF just started randomly killing people again.

All depends on how cowardly the women are when told to stop and follow when they approach the blockade.

How did he nail it if he is clueless about what is even going on?

This is not an aid mission. We have already seen what happens when folks try and supply aid to Israel's prisoners. The brave IDF just starts killing them.

This mission is simply one of solidarity.

    Read and learn:

Will you be bringing aid to Gaza?

The Women’s Boat to Gaza is a solidarity, not an aid mission. Simply put, we want to end the illegal blockade, not make it more “humane.” We also have concerns about Israel using humanitarian aid as an excuse to attack the boats (e.g., it is contraband or weapons).

As such, the boats will only be transporting the women along with the hopes of an ever-growing international community to end the blockade. We hope that upon reaching the shores of Gaza, the Women’s Boats will open the channels for others to travel to Palestine and more importantly, for the Palestinian people to use their own territorial waters for fishing and other maritime commerce.

Is that the boat there in the picture? Quite nice.. I hope they are just planning a publicity shoot when Israel takes it. Anything else would be very sad

:roflol: So you're saying they have no intention of reaching Gaza by sea and therefore won't be required to list their items they have with them or produce paperwork? They don't even have a box of bagels for the Palestinians :roflol:

Ya, just the help the poor starving, desparate people of Gaza are waiting for, not even a bag of cement or a cup of C4.

The above reproduction clearly was not commented on by the poster and simply passed on from a web site. The contents
simply contain subjective propaganda that do not permit debate or discussion. So the question is what next, should I respond with a plethora
of posts from people who think that these attempts to break the blockade in fact do not assist in raising any issues and simply
feed into the hands of Hamas who want the embargo lifted to bring in weapons?

Does anything in what was provided discuss how lifting he embargo to allow Hamas at war with Israel to bring in weapons
to attack Israel will empower Gaza women or children?

What farsical words. They were written by men and in fact exploit women and children as a pawn for Hamas.

If anyone things Hamas is about empowering women they are laughable. They subscribe to an extreme form of Islam that
defines women as inferior to men and subordinate to men, thus expendable pawns to be used to try break the embargo.

What a joke, using feminists to justify Hamas anti Israel p.r. shams.

"Their many admirers in the West like to depict Palestinians as innocent victims of imperialism, anxious to live free under their own state but tragically locked within boundaries imposed by Israel. The myth of the virtuous Palestinian flourishes especially on North American campuses where naive students vigorously press the case again Israel. But that sentimental notion collapses under scrutiny.

Students in the West would be appalled if they learned a little about the rights of women under the Palestinian Authority (PA). Some of the truth is available even in the official daily paper of the PA, Al-Hayat al-Jadida, published in Ramallah. The position of women today in the West Bank and Gaza provides chilling insight into what life in a Palestinian state will be like if that state ever becomes a reality.

About half of Palestinian women have been exposed to domestic violence, according to Al-Hayat al-Jadida. In 2014 a senior official in the PA Ministry of Women’s Affairs reported a 100 per cent recent increase in “family honour” killings. No one was particularly surprised. Zainab Al-Ghneimi, who runs the Women’s Legal Counselling Centre, says that this is a product of the entire society’s culture."

"It is not easy to be a woman living under the Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip.

Women face many restrictions, including not being able to go to the beach alone or even smoke in a public place. In addition, it is forbidden for a woman to be seen in public with a man who is not her husband, father or brother.

Women are also forced to adhere to a strict Islamic dress code in public, which includes a cloak and a veil covering their hair (hijab), especially at university and college campuses and work offices.

However, these severe restrictions do not apply to women who are prepared to become "martyrs" in the fight against Israel. So while a woman is barred from smoking in a café or restaurant, or walking in public unaccompanied by a male relative, she is permitted to join a military training camp in preparation for war against Israel.

This is exactly what is happening in the Gaza Strip these days, where women are undergoing training with various types of weapons, including rifles and mortars. The women are also taught how to plant land mines and explosive devices on the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel."
    ...
Like Hamas, the Nasser Eddin Brigades (female terror cell of Hamas) do not believe in equality between women and men in all aspects of life. They believe that a woman's role should be limited to raising her children, serving her husband faithfully and keeping her home clean.

But if a woman is prepared to die in the fight against Israel, she suddenly receives a different kind of treatment and is given more rights, including the right to be away from her husband and children. Even more, these women are granted the right to be in the company of men who are not close relatives, and who train them how to become part of the jihad against Israel.."

Right let's continue this charade about empowering women in Gaza.

    from the above:

"The latest effort to recruit women as fighters against Israel follows Hamas's move to form a new army that consists largely of Palestinian teenagers aged 15-21. Last month, Hamas boasted that it has recruited some 17,000 youths to its "Liberation Army" as part of the battle to eliminate Israel and "liberate" Jerusalem and all of Palestine, from the river to the sea.

Hamas and its allies in the Gaza Strip do not see anything wrong in using teenagers and women in the fight against Israel. In fact, this is something they have been doing for several years now.

In the next war with Israel, the women of Nasser Eddin Brigades and the teenagers of Hamas will be sent out to confront Israeli soldiers and tanks. But this time it will be a different situation, as these women and teenagers will be heavily armed and part of an army or militia. Hamas and its allies will not then be able to claim that these are civilians killed by Israel.

It is also worth noting that Hamas and other armed groups always find the money to buy weapons and ammunition and run military training camps, while Palestinians in the Gaza Strip continue to face economic hardships, particularly in the aftermath of the last military confrontation with Israel."

The women walk quietly and defiantly off the gangplank and toward the pier, where they receive a hero’s welcome....

...I am here for the women – the extraordinary women of Gaza as well as the amazing women I’m proud to call my shipmates. I’m here because I’m concerned about the effects of war and blockade on the women, as schools, hospitals and homes have been periodically destroyed and sources of power and water compromised. I’m here because some 1.8 million Gazans are trapped in what is often described as a giant open-air prison....

“The world treated Gaza as a humanitarian case, as if what the Palestinians needed was aid. What Gaza needs is freedom.”...

Breaking the siege is not the same as freedom for Gaza, but it is a start. And we women will prevail. As my South African sisters often said in their freedom struggle, “Now you have touched the women, you have struck a rock.”

Nice sloop. Looks to be well equipped. A windlass jib !!!

Have to get an agent in Israel and make a bid on the boat if there aren't to many bullet holes. The last boat Israel auctioned off just had to many bullet holes in the hull.

These women are nothing more than loony liberal activist no different than a community organizer. Agitate, cause trouble and mayhem.

How much do you get paid for this drivel? Who said anything about Iran or anti-semi risk? Seriously i want to know. Because for the right price, I can regurgitate those views also.

I wouldn't say "remembered" is antagonistic. Everything is temporary. In all likelihood, even the US will fall. We sure as heck are trying hard to make that a reality.

On topic, I think what these women are doing is brave. I wish them luck. I don't see what everyone's problem is. Why not allow Palestine to be recognized as state? Everywhere else in the world this is allowed. If one thing history has taught us, denying people basic rights leads to very bad outcomes. Why should we allow the same thing to happen to Palestinians?

And wondering, when the body bags came home how would you, as a politician sell their unnecessary deaths to the American Public considering you were attacking an ally who you were not at war with? I mean it took 911 to attack Afghanistan and the entire UNSC and over a dozen years to invade Iraq but you are going to kill thousands of US soldiers in a fight against a million man modern equipped and nuclear armed military so some girls can show solidarity with Hamas?

Aha... you are convinced the Israelis will attack the US escorts! Do you really believe they would be that stupid and bite the hand that feeds them? I don't think so.
What kind of threat do these few women pose to Israel? None whatsoever! Israel just loves to be pigheaded about the situation and show off their uncontested folly.
But let's wait and see what will really happen... they could surprise the women and the world by rolling out the red carpet.:clapping:

I'm sure if the psychos stopped lobbing bombs into Israel, then Israel would roll out the red carpet. In fact, they've tried to give the Palestinians lots of things that were either destroyed or misused by their version of the Taliban.
