Graphic video released in police shooting of 6-year-old boy

So there I was doing my afternoon catching up on the news and I came across this headline from one of the many sites I get my news from
And I say to my self "dam another police shooting, but wait this happened a year ago. why didn't I hear anything about this? why wasn't this in the national news why wasn't there any protest? you would think an innocent 6 year old getting shot dead by the police just sitting in a car would garner massive national outrage protest and maybe even riots"

So I continued reading and came across the pictures of the two officers that did the shooting, and low and behold it all started to make sense why it wasn't in the national news why there wasn't and outcry, outrage, and protest the officers are black and the little boy that was shot dead by those two black cops was white

Now if this isn't proof of the bias in the liberal media that the media has an agenda a crafted narrative and will not report anything that doesn't fit that agenda that narrative it is ignored swept under the rug not matter how news worthy it is

 

I think you are correct. And the media issue is very serious. It is a good reason to alter or abolish because there are inks to media from government that are very unhealthy.

There could be more to it than we guess given the obvious racial aspect.

An autistic boy, no less. It was in the news when it happened. You're correct. No outrage as if he were a violent thug who just strong armed a c-store and assaulted a cop.

If I recall, the cops were after this guy and lied about the encounter, a lot. Something else going on here.

 

I'm sure if there was a way to spin this in favor of Mrs. Clinton the media would be all over it. Doesn't fit the narrative vote for her because cops in America are killing innocent black men for sport.

 

If it doesn't hurt conservatives, republicans, or Christians, it's not news....when it involves death.

The MSM is completely corrupt.

If there's an opportunity to make white police look bad, the media starts foaming at the mouth. If it makes only black people look bad, it's a blackout, pun intended.

What are you going on about. It was allover the news. Just google Derrick Stafford 2015 and loads of reports from MSM sites. I remember the case being reported and I live 5000 miles away.

It Never Became An Issue Here. Never.

I do live in the US, 1200 miles away from where it happened, and this is the first time I have heard of the story. And I consider myself as one who pays close attention to the news. (I read tons of daily news, online and with iPhone)

 

News to me. Bizarre. Troubling, and tragic

 

Kind of hard to pushed like it should when the media is too busy pushing lies and giving their sob story about some new thug who had a death wish.

Had this little boy been black, the cops white the media would have made this poor child their poster boy for decades.

But alas, his life does not matter because the crime didn't fit the profile.

 

Maybe the explanation is the flip side of some of the suggestions here. The MSM likes stories people will chase so perhaps stories like these would get more traction if more people weren't so attracted to stories where people can justify state violence against minorities and were more concerned about state violence against citizens period. Just my guess.

 

I'm referring to national television news you know the news that most people consume and only thing I could find was a short CNN news clip and they didn't mention the race or showed pictures of the officers or the race or picture of the victim
there wasn't anything done about it in any of their talk shows no Don Lemon or Wolf Blitzer discussing it having guest on showing any outrage

You know dam well if this was a black boy shot by white cops that kid would be made out as the poster boy for police violence and racism for decades to come their would be 24/7 news coverage cities would have been looted and burned to the ground but because the kid was white and the cops black that kids life didn't make a dam barley mentioned in the news because it just didn't fit their agenda doesn't forward their narrative

1) Well how did you hear of it if it was not in the news.
2) The police officers are being charged, that is different than many of these other cases.
3) People should have protested at the time, and it would have had more news coverage. But I guess whites are more accepting of being murdered by the police.

 

Your police is so f'd up, seriously. yes I know most are good, but you have more than a few bad apples. You have probably more bad apples, percentage wise, than any other first world country. seems not a week can go by without US police doing something stupid.

half of them are right leaning sites one quarter is local news the rest aren't on TV so only two are TV national news and they just mentioned it on their web site not on the air

National News channel or show On Television talked about on any of the cable or network news or talk shows and mentioning the race of the cops and the race of the victim
