Only 'a small group' of youngest ones at first, apparently, followed in due course by at least 1,000 aged up to 18.

Here's a prediction: 1.The younger ones (don't ask me how 3-7 year-olds managed to reach France from far-flung countries 'unaccompanied'?) will be accommodated in child care homes, from where they will soon end up at the hands of paedophiles: 2. Some of the older ones will end up on the streets, impoverished, therefore understandably tempted into criminality in order to survive::and 3. There will be a sudden surge of applications from 'parents' who suspect their children 'might be in the UK', thus spawning another government 'Agency' to arrange for those notional parents to come here and search among all the children - all expenses paid - to see if their own offspring are here, then another army of bureaucrats will appear to investigate the validity of their claims, and some of those 'parents' won't be parents at all, but child molesters posing as parents.

Those whom the gods wish to destroy they first make mad!
