I'm from Chicago, born and raised. I used to spend summers in Michigan at a small cottage my Grandmother had by the sister lakes. We had a 13 inch TV with aluminum foil bunny ears for an antennae. We got one channel reliably, WGN which aired all of the Cubs games. That's where I became a Cub fan. I lived through the heartache of 1984, 1989, 2003, 2008, and 2015. I dealt with Steve Bartman, the curse, the goat, the lovable losers. I watched as the White Sox brought home a championship in 2005. This was our year. This is OUR time! Finally, the Cubs are World Series Champions! All I can say is what a year! What a team!
