Well my friends.. let's debate about the West Bank..
Who ruled that area before 1967 ?
    Jordan.
From whom Israel occupied the West Bank ?
    Jordan.
So if you add that to the fact that most of the Jordanians are Palestinian Bedouin... it
brings you to the simple fact that Jordan is Palestine.

Transjordan was founded in 1921.. before that it was ALL Palestine and part of the Ottoman Empire.. It became Jordan in May 1946.

    - - - Updated - - -

It was all Palestine until 1921.. This is a really stupid thread.

Well Belgium was part of the Netherlands for centuries in one way or an other. Plenty of the Belgium speak Dutch, similar religion as the Dutch living in the south of the Netherlands.

But there is no doubt that it's all the same country.
    It's just not.

And it looks like the "Jordan = Palestine"-argument. Is a way for Jews to justify to purge Israel and the West Bank of Palestinians and deport them to Jordan. Nothing like the pro-Jewish Israel apartheid state to rant their extreme racist pro ethnic cleansing propaganda on the internet.

Between 1946 to 1967 Jordan ruled the West Bank.
The Bedouins so called Palestinians lived in Jordan's territory

i think you need a history check up belgium was NEVER part of the country the netherlands outside a 15year period between 1815-1830
and before 1815 belgium (and flanders in specific) was controlled by various other countrys

from last to first i'd say it was occupied by french, austrian, spanish, burgundy and before that the flandern was a historic part of france/francia/west francia (sadly enough)
a pretty unruly duchy that rebeled faily often and was very rich and powerful for most history but was stil a duchy of france and never the Hre.
where the netherlands, brabant, luxembourg and liege where for most history up to burgundy where part of the Hre

and the period where it was united during burgundy/habsburg reign was at most 100years (and probably shorter for some parts)

so in essence over a period of 1200 years (duchy of flandern was created in 862) i would estimate that the netherlands where united for a total of 115-120 years (100 1482-1581 under austria/spain and only 15 as united netherlands in 1815-1830)
that is not exactly alot of common history

ps sorry for accidentally derailing the thread

    Is it?
And they bundled it into 1 cozy country.

There is even province called North Brabant in the Netherlands and Brabant in Belgium. Both countries also got a province called Limburg. And there is also a Belgium "Luxembourg". And note the Netherlands only "lost" their Luxembourg due to the male succession for Luxembourg and a female succession for the Netherlands. Is that all a fluke?

LOLOL.. That's BS.. I visited several times for 2 weeks before 1967. Jordan did administer the West Bank, but the Palestinians who lived there and in Jordan were NOT Bedouin.. They were farmers and merchants.

Everybody who lived in the West Bank were Palestinians.. Muslims and Christians.

Bedouins lived in the Negev until Israel started making their lives a hell.

    Talk about BS .
Palestinians came to Israel from Arab countries... as Bedouins.
Those who live in the Negev came from Africa and Egypt.. many of them are Black africanos.
Their last names are named after Arab tribes from Lybia, Egypt, Tunis and Sudan.

There was no such thing as Palestinian before Adolf Arrafat said that noun.
That's the Palestinian wall of lies.

    "HASBARA DRIVEL IS NOT HISTORY"

I don't suppose you have a credible source for what is among the most factually flawed assertions I've read at this Forum.

    Meanwhile, read & learn:

"HOW LONG HAS PALESTINE BEEN A SPECIFICALLY ARAB COUNTRY?"

EXCERPT "“Palestine became a predominately Arab and Islamic country by the end of the seventh century.
Almost immediately thereafter its boundaries and its characteristics — including its name in Arabic, Filastin — became known to the entire Islamic world, as much for its fertility and beauty as for its religious significance...

In 1516, Palestine became a province of the Ottoman Empire, but this made it no less fertile, no less Arab or Islamic...Sixty percent of the population was in agriculture; the balance was divided between townspeople and a relatively small nomadic group.

All these people believed themselves to belong in a land called Palestine, despite their feelings that they were also members of a large Arab nation...

Despite the steady arrival in Palestine of Jewish colonists after 1882, it is important to realize that not until the few weeks immediately preceding the establishment of Israel in the spring of 1948 was there ever anything other than a huge Arab majority.
For example, the Jewish population in 1931 was 174,606 against a total of 1,033,314.” Edward Said, “The Question of Palestine.”CONTINUED[1]

Why? They have been living in Palestine for 2500 years. They used to be called Gentiles.

The "palestinians" are from Jordan, so they should move back there. They are occupying Israeli land illegally.

Palestinians are the people who have lived in Syria-Palestine for 2500 years. See Herodotus, Chaucer, Wm Shakespeare.

Both Abraham and Moses had Arab wives...

You may be a good Jew and a good Zionist, but if you want to be a good human being, you should look at history and face the truth.

I don't think we have jews in our family, but then again, some of our extended family lives in California so it's possible there's a few.

You are close, but a little off. "Palestinians" are Jordanians.

I'm glad I helped clear up your confusion.

    Concerning your observation that:

    You are right, again.

Most pro-Zionist Christians seem to support Israel's war on Islam but are completely ignorant of the ongoing history of Zionist persecution of Christians in historic Palestine.

    For Example:

“Israeli Abuse of and Attacks on Christians in the Holy Land | Beyond ...”
    https://robertlindsay.wordpress.com...f-and-attacks-on-christians-in-the-holy-land/

.‎EXCERPT: "As you can see below, abuse of Christians in Israel, especially in Jerusalem, is a daily affair. In fact, when you chalk up the incidents and multiply them by 44 times to account for population differences, there are vastly more attacks on Christians in Israel than there are anti-Semitic attacks against Jews in the US, by an order of magnitude or more.

The spitting alone would amount to a minimum of 44 incidents a day in the US of Gentiles spitting on Jews.

If one US Gentile spits on a Jew, rest assured that Abe Foxman has a report on it somewhere.

Israel has never been a very friendly place for Christians, but in recent years with the rise of Orthodox hostility and Price Tag attacks, things have gotten much worse.

    - A frequent complaint of Christian clergy in Israel is being spat at by Jews, often Haredi yeshiva students. Even Christian ceremonial processions have been alleged to have been spat at, with one incident near the Holy Sepulchre causing a fracas which led to the destruction of the Armenian Archbishop’s 17th-century cross.

In 2009 a church in Israel was vandalized. Messages such as “We killed Jesus” and “Christians out” were written on it, as well as “(*)(*)(*)(*) off” which was adorned with a Star of David. Churchmen at the site also stated that the church doors are urinated on almost every day.

In 2012 a Greek Orthodox Christian monastery near Jerusalem was defaced with “Death to Christians”, and “Greeks out” slogans. Jerusalem’s Christian community was said to feel increasingly under assault.”CONTINUED

Just because Zionists persecute the Muslims so many Westerners have been trained to fear & hate doesn't mean that Zionists are any less hostile to the poorly educated Christians who support them.

    Thanks

“Palestine and Jordan are one…” said King Abdullah in 1948.

    - - - Updated - - -

“Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate,” Prince Hassan of the Jordanian National Assembly was quoted as saying on February 2, 1970.

Our Sunday school class sponsored a two week trip to the Holy Lands every April and it was cheap. I went three times so I remember how the Muslims and Christians lived and worked together before the 1967 war.

Sometimes Eastern European Jews are quite rude and abrasive. I have to wonder if they are like that in Israel.
