Get it over with! Create your own religion and you wont have to worry about anything except you will have to write your own Bible because in no way shape or form does the Bible support that type of sex or marriage. That is why there are no gays at church. It is okay though this is America. We are concerned with liberty not morals. This country was founded on religious freedom. Maybe you will go to heaven, maybe you wont.

 

While watching the reaction of those pushing for their version of religion religious freedom to discriminate would have if a religion emerged that was militantly pro-gay, homosexuality is not a religion - or a belief for that matter.

In the dhristian church no one is out of the closet just like there are very few black people in a white Christian church. My point "holds water" compared to the quoted (pedophilia bestiality and necrophilia) because a party is harmed in each of these and no consent can be given. Cool, there are verses about a man sleeping with another man as he would a woman. It's a sin and should not be done.

It's about the sex act, that's it. Those who insist on having themselves some gay-sex are free to start any chruch they wish; it just won't be Christian.

 

There are verses about how looking at a woman other than your wife. It is adultery and thus a sin. Jesus didn't request we be free of sin. in fact I think he said those who committed no sin don't need a savior.

Another thing- Sodom and Gomorrah are often used as examples of God's wrath towards all gays, but the fact is the S/G gays were totally depraved and nasty, going round hammering on peoples doors demanding the men be sent out so they could have them. Bad call, as two of the men they wanted were angels in human form, so God made an object lesson of S/G and zapped them.
Not all gays are nasty of course and there's nothing on record of him zapping any other gay communities around the world..
