    But What Does It Mean For Their Employees?

    It means there will be that many less job openings. It's also a trade off for employees earning $15. It's a shame it came to this, but when you want to force a company to pay <Mod Edit-Rule 2> to hand someone their food, this is the end result.

    i hate using self check outs in walmart and other stores now, feels like there using the customer when gas stations went from full service to pump your own gas or bankers went to ATMs.

    Unless they get machines to cook and serve the stuff, I'll bet it won't actually affect hiring all that much. The article points out that most of what the staff do isn't just taking orders, but expediting them.

    This was planned and implemented under Obama's leadership. But according to the way liberals reacted to Trump saving the Carrier jobs, you guys should be rejoicing about people losing their employment.

    If you ever been an a fast food place near a college campus or where ever you have a large number of millennials snowflakes who communicate 99% of the time by texting you noticed they have a really difficult time orally placing an order at any fast food restaurant.

    Minimum wage is done at the local level. That is why many cites have and are raising it. Trump has no control of them.
